A Heartfelt Thank You from the Clonmany Festival Committee

As the dust settles on another Clonmany Festival, we want to sincerely thank everyone who attended, supported and took part in the many events throughout the week. Your enthusiasm and community spirit helped to make the festival the success we believe it was.

A special thank you to all the event organisers whose hard work and dedication brought such a varied programme to life, and to our generous sponsors, whose support made so much of the festival possible.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank the previous festival committee, who laid the foundations for the festival we have today through many years of dedication and hard work. We could not have delivered this year’s festival without their guidance, knowledge and hands-on help, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support.

Our sincere thanks also go to the various statutory bodies and stakeholders who worked with us throughout the planning and delivery of the festival, including Donegal County Council, the Fire Authority, the HSE, the Roads Department and An Garda Síochána. Their advice, cooperation and assistance were greatly appreciated and played an important part in helping the festival run safely and successfully.

Most of all, we want to thank our incredible volunteers. Your time, energy and commitment were invaluable. Without you, we simply could not have delivered the festival, never mind made it such a success.

We also acknowledge that we did not get everything right during the week. Any shortcomings were entirely unintentional. Over the coming weeks, we will engage with the relevant people to address any issues or concerns. We will listen, learn and put plans in place to help ensure that the same issues do not arise next year.

To everyone who played a part—whether by organising, sponsoring, volunteering, attending or simply offering your support—thank you. Your contribution is deeply appreciated, and we hope you enjoyed the festival as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you.

✨WHAT A WEEK✨
I’d like to thank Clonmany Festival for trusting me to be their Host of the Festival this year!

It was lovely to meet so many people throughout the week and experience everyone enjoying themselves through Music & Dancing.

Lastly to the committee - it was a pleasure to work with such an amazing bunch of people who from the word go had the right goals in mind. It’s very rare to find such a strong sense of goodwill and community spirit. I actually don’t think they highlight how much good that they do both throughout the festival and also what they do with the profits of the festival. It’s a credit to them and inspiring.

The festival will also be appearing on our TV screens later in the year. We look forward to that too - putting Donegal on the map 💚💛

❤️ A Massive Thank You to Sinead Black ❤️

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the brilliant Sinead Black, who was our host for Clonmany Festival 2026! 🎤🎉

And what an amazing job she did! 🙌🏻

Sinead brought such a great buzz, energy and atmosphere to the town throughout the entire week. From keeping everything running smoothly to getting the crowds going, she was a massive part of what made the week so special.

We’re so grateful to Sinead for giving up her time and spending the full week with us here in Clonmany. ❤️

🧹 LEAVING CLONMANY AS WE FOUND IT 💚

At Clonmany Festival, we always strive to leave our town the way we came into it before the festival began.

Tonight we teamed up with Clonmany Tidy Towns to give the town an extra clean sweep after a brilliant and very busy week. 🙌🏻

A massive thank you to everyone who came out tonight to lend a hand, especially after such a long week. Your time and effort is hugely appreciated.

It takes a lot of people working together behind the scenes to keep Clonmany looking its best, and we’re very grateful to every volunteer who played their part. 💚

🧹🌿 CLONMANY TIDY TOWNS – POST-FESTIVAL CLEAN-UP 🌿🧹

After an amazing week in Clonmany, it’s time to get our town looking its very best again! 💚

We’re asking anyone who can spare an hour or two to come along and lend a hand with our Post-Festival Clean-Up.

📍 Meeting at Market Square
📅 Tonight – Tuesday 11th August
⏰ 7:00pm

Gloves and equipment will be provided, but if you have your own hi-vis, please bring it along if possible.

After such a busy festival week, every extra pair of hands makes a massive difference. Whether you can stay for the full clean-up or just help for a short while, it will all be greatly appreciated. 🙌

A huge thank you in advance to everyone who comes out to help keep Clonmany looking its absolute best. 🌿❤️

Thank you to all of our musicians, our dancers for coming to the return of our on-street jiving competion, our vintage car and tractor drivers, and everyone else👏🏻🤠
