Ode to Old Time Fair & Clonakilty

Old Time Fair
The dust has settled
The fumes of
Steam Engines
Have dissipated
Another
Old Time Fair
Has come and gone ,
Just like another
Street Carnival
Has come and gone ,
The Clon Fest
Just about over
With the warm weather
And sublime
Music
Clon town
Is still in clover ,
Just now
Looking forward to
A Guitar Fest
Of musical
Guitars
And so many superstars
Legends of music decend on Clon,
We are simply the best
Take a bow Clon
Where would
You get it?
At no cost to anyone ,
Just appear
Be there
Support
And Clon
Will do the rest .
Right now
Clonakilty
As a collective community
Take a second bow
You indeed
Deserve
A standing
Applause
In this year
2026.
