I've just finished this portrait which was commissioned as a very special present. This sweet girl is called Heidi and I'm told she is kind, loyal & gentle and can almost talk, she is so human 🩷 I wanted to capture the loving look in her eyes. What a gorgeous girl she is! 🐾😍

It feels like ages since I last posted anything! Here is a memorial portrait which was given as a gift at Christmas. This beautiful lady was called Boo and I'm told she was young & puppy-like her whole life 🥹 💕 Wasn't she just gorgeous? 😍 I absolutly loved her pose in this photo - she looked so relaxed. I wanted to try and capture the softness of her coat, which I could see was like silk. Hopefully this portrait has brought some comfort to her family ❤️

Thought you might like to see a side by side comparison of Barney's photo and portrait. As you can see, the photo was superbly detailed which allowed me to create a more realistic portrait. If you don't have a good photo (expecially when a pet is deceased), I CAN still do a lovely portrait but it will be in a softer, less detailed style. Regardless of style, I will always try to capture your pet's unique personality 🐾❤️

I'm delighted to finally be able to share this portrait with you - meet the absolutely gorgeous Barney! 🧡 Doesn't he have the most soulful eyes?? This was a special Christmas present from a sister to her brother 💕This was one of my favourite portraits to work on, as the photo was just perfection, so clear and full of detail and what a beautiful little dog!! The photo really is the most important thing; without a good photo, I am not really able to fully capture your pet's personality...and that is always my aim.

Well, I have just finished my last commission for this year ☺️ It has been such a joy and a privilege to draw so many gorgeous cats and dogs.
