Meet the cast!

Marie Fitzgerald plays Peg, an empathetic servant girl, who has had a child out of wedlock and was abandoned by her previous partner. As a result, she has been hardened somewhat and now works in the bar where most of the soon-to-be emigrants stop by on their way to the train station.

Gearóid Hourihane plays Tom, the long suffering publican who is trapped in Keelty under the eye of his pious sister Seelie. A fair and kind employer to Peg, and a friend to all who frequent his establishment, can Tom leave it all behind and build a new life for himself?

Rehearsals were in full swing this week for ‘Many Young Men of Twenty’ by John B.Keane.

We cannot wait to bring this classic to the Ardattin stage and we hope you can come along! Next Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, Sunday 22nd and Wednesday 25th March.
Doors 7.30, show starts 8pm.
