I am a dance teacher based in Bantry, Ireland. All levels and genders are welcome. New term starts this September.

I teach weekly classes in modern and jazz for kids and teens as well as conditioning and dance classes for adults.

The Ballydehob Jazz Festival is just around the corner, and we are delighted to bring another round of swing dance classes to Bantry!!! Mick will teach a few basic steps and routines in preparation to swing a leg on the dance floors, pub's and bars in Ballydehob, first weekend in May.

As we're busy hosting our "Mini Easter Camp" for kids and teens, we will give the morning fitness and conditioning class a break today....so enjoy a cuppa and some chocolate instead (we will burn all those calories next week again;))

Introducing our fourth dance teacher for our "Mini Easter Camp" next week!!!

Working with different choreographers in big Musical Productions ( "Hair", "Rocky Picture Horror Show","Kiss Me,Kate",..), I would like to share some of my experiences and teach a fun routine in Musical Theatre.
It's a great opportunity to learn the skills of how to dance and to act at the same time.

Nancy taught great classes in our studio last year, and now she's back to teach some beautiful and energetic movements in Salsa to kids and teens.

Kate,our wonderful teacher from Cork, will show us part of the circus world by teaching some amazing moves in partner acrobatics. Specialised in Hula Hoops, she'll create a beautiful routine with us, using some props.
It's a great opportunity to learn moving with props and explore new movements!

Rebekka Simon, Dance Teacher

When I was a kid I used to move to any kind of music whenever I found space to dance. My parents recognized and encouraged my passion for dance and brought me to the Palucca University of Dance Dresden, Germany (where I am from). I studied dance there for 6 years including ballet and point work, modern and contemporary dance, jazz and improvisation. During this time I worked with choreographers like John Neumeier, Birgit Scherzer and Hanne Wantke. I also performed in Swan Lake and A Midsummer Night's Dream at Semper Opera House in Dresden.

I moved to Cork city last year and recently completed the intermediate and advanced ISDT dance courses at Colaiste Stiofain Naoifa. I also joined the Cork City Ballet Youth Ensemble during my studies. I have always had a passion for dance and the feeling of freedom while I'm moving. That's why I would like to share my love for this unique expression of and with our bodies! I would like to give anyone the opportunity to explore themselves through movement and to be at one with space, music and their own body. “There is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique.
