We were so lucky to take part in the Sing Social Club: Barbershop edition in The Irish Institute of Music & Song recently, where we got to try out our competition set for IABS 2026: Love Walked In, and You’ll Be In My Heart

Thanks to all at The Lark for hosting us, to our wonderful co-performers for being magical, and to the indomitable Becky Gilbert for pulling together a day of joy and celebration of barbershop!

Competing on stage at our first IABS convention was a real highlight of 2025 for us, but we had the best craic of all at the afterglow: the part of barbershop convention where people sing for joy!

We got to perform our favourite belter Go the Distance from Hercules at the 2025 open mic, and we can's wait to see what excitement we get to hear at it this year!

Its such a great opportunity to try out new material, to sing with new people, to sing something that isn't eligible for competition... to just sing!

Project M's first ever competition was at the Irish Association of Barbershop Singers's 2025 convention in Killarney.

We learned so much from this first outing, and cannot wait to take to the stage again this Octover!

Project M got to represent Ireland and Irish Association of Barbershop Singers at the World Mixed Barbershop Championship this year and we had a BALL!

Stage performance photos taken by the incredible Eric Ideler who does such a brilliant job of capturing so much barbershop in action all over Europe.

We got to travel to Germany on our first ever international trip, see some of the best barbershop in the world, support our fellow IABS pals Munster Mix, and have an all-round deadly time!

We’re already scheming for our next overseas adventure, watch this space!
