Autumn Jazz is a wonderful opportunity for the people of Balbriggan to showcase not just the talent in the town regarding music and visual art but it also allows everyone demonstrate that Balbriggan is a wonderful place to live, socialise and do business in. The fusion of Jazz and Visual Art make Autumn Jazz something really special and there will be an Art Pop-Up gallery open as part of the Jazz
Trail. Following on from previous years, Alison has yet again designed lithograph prints to commemorate Autumn Jazz. There will be a limited number of prints available for sale all of which will be numbered and signed by the artist. This will undoubtedly lead to them becoming collectors’ items. Alison will curate an Autumn Jazz pop up art gallery where local artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work. The idea behind fusing Jazz and Visual Art stems from the concept that great artists who use various techniques to create an image that inspires different emotions in those who view their work, so great jazz musicians use their musical vocabularies to make music which again stirs the emotions of all who listen.
