‘Aidan Duffy grew up the youngest of ten home-educated siblings in an alternative household in County Meath. Raised on the record collections of his parents and nine older siblings, Aidan’s musical education was varied and he started singing and writing songs from a very young age.
As a solo artist, Aidan has independently released and produced two album and three EPs — taking full creative control over every stage, from songwriting and production to mixing and touring.
His most recent album, Part II, is a deeply personal record written during a period of significant upheaval. Created across 2024 and 2025, the album draws on the end of a long-term relationship, a move west to Galway, and the gradual loss of his father to dementia. While rooted in grief and self-reflection, Part II balances emotional honesty with moments of warmth and forward motion, embracing space through understated arrangements, sensitive guitar work and subtle use of synths, strings and rhythm.

Aidan performs live with his brother and long term collaborator Ben Duffy (The Leon Stax Equation) on drums and vocals. As well as his friend Sam Wright (The Whileaways, The Raines) on Double Bass and Electric Bass. The three form dynamic ensembles that sensitively carry across the emotion of Aidan’s music.’

🔹THE LEON STAX EQUATION .stax.equation

The Leon Stax Equation are a 6 piece soul band based in Galway, Ireland. Since forming in 2023 they have released 2 albums, made #3 in the Irish independent album Charts and toured the UK, USA, mainland Europe and of course, Ireland.
Born 2nd youngest in a family of 10, band leader Leon Stax took influences from all genres coming through the stereo in his vibrant home. Through playing in various bands with his 2 brothers, Leon finally came to find that his true calling was in Soul music.

in the 90s the next new low fronted the now legendary dublin band the Idiots.
on his record label ‘trust me i’m a thief’ he released artists such as Jape, The Redneck Manifesto, Si Schroeder and Beautiful Unit. the next new low first vinyl record ‘the unreachable’was released september 2025 a 6 track lo-fi gem, recorded at home with casio mt-70 keyboards and guitars.
It is a natural progression from trauma to grief to the glimmers of hope and positivity.

Aidan Duffy is a songwriter from County Meath, currently based in Galway. His music blends influences from soul, blues, and Irish folk, with lyrics that are deeply intimate and poignant. His work serves as a meditation on the life he’s lived and the characters he’s met.

‘ Dee is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and a vibrant force in Irish music for over three decades. Best known as the fiddle player with the iconic band Kíla since 1991, she brings an electrifying energy to every performance. Coming from a deeply musical family, Dee has inherited a legacy that resonates through the generations. This influence is unmistakably present in both her solo work and collaborative projects. Her children – Tiggy, Diarmuid, Lughaidh and Rosie continue this family tradition.
Dee’s solo album, Deichtine’s Daughter, released in 2025 features, Diarmuid and Lughaidh playing 5 string banjo and guitar respectively.
For sixteen years Dee has organised and tutored the Rock School at The Glens Arts Centre, Manor Hamilton, mentoring and recording young musicians, composed and collaborated on many soundtracks for film, theatre, dance and radio. Including animations ‘Song of the sea’ and the Oscar nominated ‘Wolfwalkers’ and since 2015 she has been performing with 5 piece band The Free Speaking Monkeys. ‘

Creating the backdrop to a stunning night of music with the incredible DEE ARMSTRONG & her band 💜is the equally amazing artist and creative - Catherine Weld ! A beautiful combination from two female artists with real depth and feeling 🤍 a visual and sonic feast for the senses coming up ! Not to be missed ❤️‍🔥

‘My creative career began in the UK as a social documentary photographer, followed by seven years as facilitator of a hospice-based project making books and films with people at the end of life. A graphic design degree followed but fnding commercial work restrictive, I moved to West Cork in 2012 and committed fully to life as a painter, which offers the solitude, risk and freedom to which I am best suited.

I have exhibited widely and my paintings are in the OPW and Cork County Council art collections as well as in private homes in Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the U.S.A., and the U.K.‘
