Looking for an activity that helps your child build confidence, communication skills and creativity in a fun, supportive environment? 🎭

Speech & Drama classes, new term starting Tuesday in Adare for ages 6–15.

A fun, welcoming space for students to grow in confidence, develop performance skills, build friendships and express themselves creatively ✨

Classes include drama games, improvisation, scriptwork and ensemble activities, with an optional end-of-year showcase this term.

🎭 Speech & Drama Classes –

Term 2 starting May 12th

Classes available for ages 6–10 and 11-15.

These classes are designed to help students build confidence, communication and performance skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Through drama games, improvisation, scriptwork and ensemble activities, students develop skills that support them both in school and socially.

This term includes an optional end-of-year showcase, with opportunities to take part in speech & drama exams and festivals at other stages of the year.

🎭 Speech & Drama Classes Adare

Term 2 begins May 12th!

Fun, engaging classes where students build confidence through drama games, improvisation, ensemble work and performance.

There are also optional opportunities to take part in speech & drama exams, festivals and an end-of-year showcase.

✨ Back to it tomorrow ✨

After a lovely Easter break, I’m really looking forward to welcoming everyone back to class. Hard to believe we’re heading into the final 4 weeks of Term 1 already!

Students have been building fantastic skills through speech work, group drama activities, scriptwork and monologues. Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue developing these skills, while also starting to explore improvisation and devising as we begin preparing for our end-of-year showcase 🎭

This week in Speech and Drama we began working with scripts.
Students explored character, voice projection, and bringing dialogue to life through performance.
It was wonderful to see their confidence growing already 🎭 If you’d like to enquire about a place for your child, feel free to get in touch.

Fantastic first Speech & Drama classes this week at 🎭

It was wonderful to meet such a lovely group of students. We started with fun drama games, confidence activities and ensemble work, and everyone settled in brilliantly.

The 7–10 class is now full for this term, but there are still a very small number of places available in the 11–14 class.

These classes focus on confidence, communication and performance skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment, with optional speech and drama exams and festival opportunities later in the year.

Tuesdays at Manor Fields
7–10: 4:00–5:00pm (Full)
11–14: 5:00–6:00pm (Limited places)

Speech & Drama in Adare begins next Tuesday, Feb 24th and I’m excited to now offer:

🕓 Ages 7–10 | 4–5pm
🕔 Ages 11–14 | 5–6pm

These classes focus on:

🎭 Confidence
🗣 Clear, strong speaking
🎬 Performance skills
🎲 Fun drama games & creative activities

Optional Speech & Drama exams and festival opportunities (such as Féile Luimnigh) will be offered.

Does your child speak quietly… or hesitate to put their hand up? 🗣

Ages 11 to 14 can be a time when confidence dips and self awareness grows. Many young people find it hard to project their voice or speak up, even when they have so much to say.

Speech and Drama is a supportive space to build that confidence through:

• Fun drama games
• Group improvisation
• Voice and expression activities
• Storytelling and performance
• Encouraging, confidence building challenges

And for those who already love performing, the classes give them a space to stretch creatively and develop stronger stage presence.

Every student is supported at their own pace in a positive and welcoming environment.

Ages 11–14 are a big transition. Confidence can dip, voices change, and many young people become more self-conscious, especially when speaking up or performing in front of others.

Speech & Drama at this stage isn’t about turning children into actors. It’s about helping them:
• Speak with confidence
• Communicate clearly
• Express ideas and opinions
• Work collaboratively with others
• Build self-belief in a supportive environment

Our classes focus on confidence first, using group drama, voice work and creative activities to help students feel comfortable and capable, skills that carry into school, friendships, and everyday life.
