Vee3rdeye Living differently šŸ“Bali

I would argue i had the best Ozora camp this year. Surrounded by 25 of my best friends, smoking, jamming, sharing stories, holding space for one another. This moment was pure bliss & im happy i captured 60 seconds of it. Ozora festival is only fun for me because i get to be with these people. My Europe tribe. One day soon we will live communally & spend our lives sharing more moments like this šŸ¤šŸ«‚

Thank you all for making my 9th ozora so great.

The whole tribe are together & we landed a trip to Gili Asahan to stay at the wonderful Gili Asahan Eco Lodge Ā· Lombok probably one of the most beautiful islands i’ve ever visited & they gracefully gave us a bungalow each for our few nights in paradise. This island is just off the coast of Lombok in indonesia, a long drive along the rolling hills by bike, some breathtaking scenery with uninterrupted jungles & empty beaches. Then a short boat ride. This whole trip is on my youtube already search ā€œveethirdeyeā€ you can see more of the journey. Everything i’m posting at the moment is raw from my iphone. Just my eyes. My pov. I love this raw style of posting. Just showing you how it is. Nothing is posed, just living our best lives. I’m so grateful i got to spend a few days here, away from the noise. Absolutely no light pollution there and the stars at night were so bright my pictures don’t do it justice.

One of my favourite countries in South East Asia has to be Singapore! Being so close to indonesia i decided to go for 24 hours just to really soak it all in again and be reminded why it’s one of my favourite travel spots. The humidity you can almost taste 🌱 the plant life there is so happy & the gardeners of that land have curated beautiful parks right next to the busy downtown skyscraper alley.

Im from north wales so i didn’t grow up around tropical plants & there wasn’t a single sky scraper in my country growing up so countries like this expand my mind so much to the possibilities of this human existence. I love pretending to live a Singaporean life for the day, where would they eat? where do they hangout? Just trying a different lifestyle for 1 day. It’s super fun. I think that’s why backpacking is just so addictive. You never know where you’ll end up, who will be there when you arrive & what you will learn each day because every day is such an intense lesson into something you didn’t know you needed but now carry with you daily.

Went on a quick mission to Gili Air on my way to Lombok to pick up packages and instruments for Rhys & Sara before meeting up with Pat for the first time & taking a ferry with our bikes across to our new home, Lombok.
We made a few friends & did some monkeying around, can’t remember how many hours the journey was but being on the ocean for that long really resets the mind.

Our first night in Lombok & Rhys puts us up in the nicest airbnb ever overlooking Kuta, Lombok at the south of the island. Only spent a night here but it was incredible. No light pollution at night. Glorious.

I caught my first Indonesian scorpion, it came out of a vase.

So exciting to start living in a new part of the map with all new people. The start of our tribe. šŸ”„

This week i’m closing one chapter to open another. Before i leave Bali this week we have one last adventure. A weekend up in the north of the island where we visit some of the most dramatic waterfalls the island has to offer. Had a beautiful photoshoot, included one of the shots i took of Jamy & some of the ones she took of me (i don’t have the rest for this shoot)

Just incredible. We drove in the rain and almost turned back because of how wet it was but when we reached the falls the rain stopped and we had the place to ourselves. So much energy flowing. So much raw power.

We also visited one of the largest and oldest trees on the island. Luckily a family take care and protect it. I would love to climb it one day but im sure it’s forbidden.

A bittersweet week as new opportunities are opening up to me.

I’m currently on a train across the country right now so im posting today’s Bali Diary entry a little late i hope you don’t mind. Thank you for commenting on them i really hope you are enjoying. these are all iphone shots across my 2025 bali season and i wanted to talk about a deeper topic.

Death is truly all around you in bali. Because it’s such a small island with so many inhabitants, everyone’s gotta eat and nature is intense!

In the tropics it’s always like this but bali feels as if it truly embraces the Death in all its elements. They have become comfortable with the idea of death and rebirth. Balinese people are very in tune with their island because it’s an active volcano & they know at any moment it could erupt.

There’s something really sobering about that. It’s a powerful energy when you’re there and that’s why Bali is the number one tourist destination right now! That’s a lot of mouths to feed. Who knows what the egg happened to this giant turtle i’ve never seen one that big and it was so bloated i’ll post a Reel showing you guys. Super gnarly.

im constantly inspired by the way they treat their trees out here. The ancient ones are sacred & protected by the communities. they often build temple walls around to protect them.

The main reason i keep returning to bali is because of its trees, they have a unique jungle that im still exploring. I want to learn to climb their biggest but all in good time.

Bali Diary Week 10 šŸŒ
Filmed a few youtube videos this week & got to model some beautiful clothes. This trip really triggered the idea to switch my whole wardrobe to all natural fibres & away from the polyesters i was carrying. Way more breathable & healthier for your skin organ.
One of the more tragic but funny things i’ve seen on these bali roads was an entire banana truck upside down šŸŒšŸ™ƒ

The whole community comes together to fix problems like this and within a couple hours they had the road cleared again and salvaged most the bananas šŸ˜†

Does anyone know the name of this cloud effect during the storm? i know it has something to do with pockets of rising heat.

One thing to note is if you give me nice clothes expect them dirty by the end of the day šŸ‘£

Bali Diary Week 9 🌱
Much slower pace this week, lots of sunset trips where we dedicate that hour of every day to rush to the beach & take some beautiful shots. Staying in this beautiful bamboo hut far from the markets so i prepare huge breakfasts at home. Banana, dragon fruit, papaya, watermelon & seeds with squeezed lemon. This was my go to breakfasts while i was living in asia. Cleaned me out. Kept me lean.
It feels wrong not taking advantage of all the fresh fruit growing in abundance! šŸ“
Almost 2 months into my 6 month trip now & starting to feel settled a little more. Starting to build routines. Something i never really feel as a traveller is that sense of stillness you get when you know where you’ll be sleeping that night every night. Felt good to feel this for a short while.
From the amount of cloud photos i took this week i think my head is feeling wider, expanding my ideas beyond myself.
