Bluff was founded in 2012 to help make a positive change in Kuta, Lombok.

Before this time there was not much besides party hard for the youth in Kuta. Hopefully with the support of the community and a chance to create, we can make a positive change, so they don’t get stuck in the consuming world but back to being productive and active. We want to give them a platform where they can design, create and produce handmade things, to recognize and support their talent in pai

nting, art and surfing. Some of the things we are doing to raise funds and awareness are: Art exhibitions with local artwork and paintings, Producing locally inspired clothing and merchandise, running open air beach parties.

Our Story

Bluff is an events and clothing brand dedicated to community development in Southern Lombok, Indonesia. Created in 2012 by a local surfer, the brand's name is inspired by Shipstern’s Bluff in Tasmania infamously known as one of the wildest surf spots in the world.

We throw regular free open-air parties in Southern Lombok for both locals and tourists to gather together and continue the sense of community, welcoming anyone and everyone to participate. If you plan to travel to Lombok & would like to participate, either as a DJ, performer or artist, contact us to get involved.

Bluff is dedicated to providing a creative outlet for locals and encouraging a sense of community with the ever changing landscape of Kuta Lombok, due to the rapid influx of foreign tourism, and the changes that brings to the environment. Bluff's Local Art Project (L.A.P) provides art workshops for youths, which allows participants the opportunity to develop their creativity and entrepreneurship skills by developing their own art and are given the opportunity to present and sell their work.

All proceeds from the Bluff clothing line go towards community development projects, including L.A.P.
