Kenal semenjak ikut Papa main Jazz di kampus2 dulu inget pertama ketemu beliau di pake gitar buntung stanberger (kayak punya King Rhoma) di festival Jazz di sebuah kampus di jalan Borobudur ,jakarta pusat ..lalu muncul di Gigi band setelah itu ,hingga hari ini
Kalau soal permainan beliau yang tingkat Dewa itu sudah ga perlu di bahas lagi ya ,yang mau gw bahas adalah beberapa hal tentang doi yang menurut gw bisa jadi teladan buat musisi khususnya pemain Gitar , Doi punya band yg super produktif melahirkan sekian album dan menjadikannya band lokal kelas atas selamanya , lalu selagi libur produktif bikin album solo , tour keliling dunia bersama musisi mancanegara ,ga cuma album solo dan tour saja beliau juga orang yang gw kenal sangat enteng tangan dalam hal sosial dan kemanusiaan , orang yg langsung terjun ke lokasi membantu bila ada bencana alam , yoi.. Suhu gw manggil doi karena memang doi seorang Panutan

In 1995 came out with , released by . I bought the cassette in 1997. I heard before this, not aware that was the guitarist of the band. The song hooked me up. It was the first that I've heard, and I was 15. This album personally gave me a new reference about riffing, but I never bothered to learn abt it, having no seven string guitar at that time, and I have no idea how to make a sound like that. Sometime in 2000, thru discussion, I saw the video, and there was ... making me depressed about my riffing... From then on, I started to pay more detailed attention into metal riff. Dino Cazares opened my ears to a new form of metal sound.
Now I am not a practicing guitarist anymore, I found that managing bands and guitarist works better for me than me playing guitar.. hehehe... forgive my sloppy playing...
Having no , I drop-tuned my to . Yeah, I cheated! At least it gave me some good nostalgic memories for this Sunday evening... Thanks Dino! 🤘🏼
