One year ago today I got in a life changing accident, I broke 8 bones in my face and had almost 200 stitches put in. During the last year I’ve had to l spend months gaining weight back and gaining just basic muscle functions back, but all in all I’m grateful. I’m grateful for everyone helping me with the go fund me I’m grateful for the family helping care for me, the loved ones near helping me with day to day needs. Today I’m happy to say that I’ve regained all my mobility again and am fully functioning 🙏🏽💪🏽

Luck is something that happens after the jump. I landed in Bali with 230 dollars to my name but life made it work out, I gave up my home and my car for the memories I wanted to make, and I got them. I gave up the comfort of my family and friends to go search for new connections as well as experiences and I found them. The world has a beautiful way of making things work for you when you trust the process and run after it, granted it isn’t always the most glamorous life or the easiest, but to me it’s the most rewarding 🙏🏽

Leaving Bali after 4 months feels so surreal, 10 photos could not even begin to show all of this chapter of my life. There has been ups and downs from being here and so many spontaneous moments that weren’t photographed, just lived. There has also been incredible people I have met on this trip and got to share precious memories with that will last forever, some old friends and some strangers met in airports, random hitchhikers, or even just met on the ferry to neighboring islands. Indonesia has a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to come back, but I’m also excited to see what the next chapter holds and where I end up next 🫶🏽
