I made this page recently (only in 2025!) to contain art workshops that I wanted to do. You may or may not know me from my work organizing poetry events with the Budapest Poetry Collective. After organizing poetry events for the last 5 years, I wanted to branch out and focus on visual arts. My degree is in Art Education, and I spent my early career teaching art, and I felt an itch to explore that.
I thought making a separate account for this project would make sense, but I’ve found it to be twice the work, and unnecessary!
My projects are an extension of me, and I like how text and visuals cross and influence each other and express something that might not need a strict definition of “ART” or “POETRY”.
After some feedback from friends, I’ve decided to use the Budapest Poetry Collective project as a vehicle for future art workshops and collabs as well. Maybe for some that’s uncomfortable, and maybe even for me, but I want to embrace the crossover (and honestly, just simplify my life).
