A budapesti Gabrieli Choir tagfelvételt hirdet!

A Gabrieli Choir egy amatőr kamarakórus Budapesten, mely angol és magyar nyelven működik. Tagjaink a világ különböző részeiről érkeztek, alkotva egy színes és jókedvű nemzetközi közösséget. A kórusban profi és amatőr énekesek, magyar és külföldi résztvevők, fiatalok és idősebbek egyaránt megtalálhatók, mindannyian lelkesen és elkötelezetten szolgálják az angol és nemzetközi kórusművészetet.

The Gabrieli Choir of Budapest invites applications!

The Gabrieli Choir is an amateur chamber choir based in Budapest, operating in both English and Hungarian. Our members come from different parts of the world, creating a colorful and cheerful international community. The choir consists of both professional and amateur singers, Hungarian and foreign participants, and individuals of various ages, all serving the English and international choral arts with enthusiasm and dedication.

What we expect: openness to getting to know each other, regular participation in our enjoyable rehearsals, basic English speaking skills, and a trainable, clear voice.
What is advantageous: choir singing experience; the ability to read sheet music.

Új év és sok újdonság a Gabrieliben!

Az évadot nagy tervekkel és nagy lelkesedéssel kezdjük új karnagyainkkal, Soós Zsófiával és Szabó Márkkal.

Ami biztos várható az ősszel:
A hagyományos brit karácsonyi Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
Beethoven Karfantáziája a 2. Reményi Károly Emlékkoncert keretében Esztergomban.

További terveinkről az első próbán hallhattok, ami az új évadban szeptember 4-én lesz, 17.30-tól 20.00-ig a skót templomban, Vörösmarty utca 51 alatt.

Ha érdekel, gyertek el, merthogy új énekeseket is várunk - pironkodva valljuk meg, főleg férfiakat, de a női szólamokban is van még hely tapasztalt énekeseknek!

We are starting the new season with our new conductors, Soós Zsófia and Szabó Márk, new plans and fresh enthusiasm!

This year will include:
-the traditional Christmas Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
- the 2nd Reményi Károly Memorial Concert in Esztergom, in which we will be singing Beethoven's Choral Fantasy

Our conductors will outline further plans in person at the rehearsal, so come along and find out what's in store!
Our first rehearsal of the new academic year will be on September 4th from 17.30 to 20.00 at the Scottish Presbyterian Church, Vörösmarty utca 51. We will be joined by several new singers,and anyone interested in joining are welcome! :-)

Énekelj a Gabrieli kórussal!

(🇭🇺) A Gabriel Choir újra indult a karanténos szünet után és főleg szopránokat, tenorokat és basszusokat keres!

Ha a kottaolvasás nem idegen tőled, szereted a bársonyos harmóniákat és egy különleges repertoárt keresel, gyere el egy próbánkra!

Az együttest 24‐28 tapasztalt énekes alkotja, a próbákat a
belvárosban tartjuk hetente egyszer, vasárnap este 5‐től 8 óráig.
A repertoár gerincét a XVI. századtól napjainkig tartó időszak angol liturgikus zenéje adja, kiegészülve más neves szerzők darabjaival. A kórus a jövőben Budapesten és Esztergomban tervez fellépni. A helyi anglikán közösség felkérésére rendszeresen énekeltük e gyönyörű zenét eredeti kontextusában, vagyis az anglikán liturgiában, és szeretnénk újra indítani ezt a gyakorlatot.

Come and Sing with the Gabrieli Choir!

(🇬🇧) Hungary’s only choir specialising in the study and performance of Anglican cathedral music is restarting after a break, and is now recruiting enthusiastic new members with basic music reading skills, especially sopranos tenors and basses.

The Gabrieli Choir, which has a repertoire from the 16th century to the present day, is a welcoming multinational group which plans to hold concerts in Budapest and Esztergom. It rehearses once a week
on Sundays (5-8 p.m.) in the centre of Budapest.
