After the first 1/1 photogram of Tehran’s Mirror Hall was collected, I returned to the darkroom to complete the room's harmonic chord.

Using UNESCO blueprints & standing wave frequencies, low-frequency sound drives a laser to expose analog paper in real time. 2 new larger 1/1 pieces now available.

No camera, no negative. The image is drawn by a laser onto silver gelatin paper in the dark, driven by an acoustic recording of the Hall of Mirrors at Golestan Palace.

One print. 1/1. Signed and dated.

The rest is just packing: glassine, gloves, certificate, a personal note, the catalogue, two boards taped shut. Every piece leaves the studio the same way.

On 2 March 2026 the shockwave from a nearby airstrike shattered the mirror work of Talar-e Ayneh, the Hall of Mirrors at Golestan Palace in Tehran. UNESCO confirmed the damage.

A hall can be repaired. Its resonance cannot be recovered once the geometry changes.

From archival blueprints I calculated the room’s standing wave frequencies. Second mode: 28.58 Hz. In the darkroom that frequency drives a 450 nm laser across analogue paper.

No digital negative. No reprint.

What if you could see the sound of a room? 〰️

Musica Subsonica 0.1 translates space → sound → movement → light → image — turning invisible vibrations into light and, in darkroom mode, a permanent photograph.

Teatro Ramirez in Venezuela was leveled by an earthquake — no blueprints of it survived. I reverse-engineered the whole building: Google Earth for the footprint, fSpy on rare interior photos, Blender to rebuild it 1:1. Then I ran the model through an acoustic generator to extract its resonant frequencies — now printed onto analog film through a custom laser installation.

A 7.5 magnitude earthquake devastated Venezuela this week, destroying the iconic Jacobo Ramírez Theater.
But can a lost space be preserved through wave physics?
To find out, I extracted the theater’s unique standing wave frequencies through sound portal. No digital pixels—just a pure analog darkroom process where sound drives a laser beam, freezing its final geometry onto photographic paper. A mathematical ghost that cannot be destroyed.
