Many people today are led to think that progress, however we define it, depends on the advancement of technology. But the truth may be a lot more old-school: being able to collaborate well gets us where we really want to be. Most technology is invented by capitalists and in order to serve capitalism. Surveillance, management, automation, all the tools for mass exploitation, distraction and destruction. The Machine devours and seduces at the same time, so to defeat it or get it to behave is certainly beyond what any one person can do. (...)"

🔵 PERFORMANCE and artist talk

PERFUSION is a live, realtime audio/video performance that navigates the experience of space as flow, permeating the senses. The source footage was recorded in various locations across South Korea. The live image and audio processing reflect a composite of sensorial forms. The camera moves through and dances with architecture, the audio breathes and pulls together fragments of tone and rhythm. Is experience linear, or a pouring through a circulatory system of memories colliding and resonating?

As part of our first Unstable Glitch Art Biennale 2k26 exploring COLLECTIVISM, we invite you to two open and free events - a collaboration between Fubar (🌐fubar.space), Sound Art Lab and one of the pillars of experimental media art: the US-based artist-run organization Signal Culture . 💙

event 1: SUN MAY 17
Join us for a Sunday presentation of artwork by artists, educators and producers Debora and Jason Bernagozzi!

They will perform a live multimedia performance, show other single channel work and be available for a short Q&A afterwards. After the event we’ll explore other community events and venues in Zagreb together - so be sure not to miss out on this lovely hangout. 🙌

We happily invite you to a shared afternoon of experimental wonders built within communities of media arts!
Starting at 2pm you can join us for a snack and a casual get-together where you can inquire about how media artists create and collaborate, where to find proper funding or interesting equipment and in general why we do what we do and how to do it better together. At 5pm we’re excited to welcome Debora and Jason Bernagozzi in a talk about Signal Culture nodes, inner workings and the importance of modularity as a technical but also a community concept. 👏
