Casta Diva Spalato 2026 is approaching, bringing together young opera singers from around the world for four days of competition, music and artistic exchange in Split.

All competition stages will be closed to the public, with the exception of the Final Gala Concert, which will take place on September 25 at 7:30 PM at the Ivo Tijardović Concert Hall, Hrvatski dom Split.

Applications are open until September 15, 2026.
Places are limited, so we encourage all interested singers to complete their application as soon as possible and secure their place in this year’s edition.

Join us in Split, Croatia, from September 23–25, 2026 for the 2nd International Competition for Young Opera Singers.

Perform before an international jury of distinguished opera professionals, artistic directors, managers, and leading figures from renowned European opera institutions.

🏆 Prizes:
1st Prize – €2,000
2nd Prize – €1,000
3rd Prize – €500
Audience Award – €200

The jury of Casta Diva Spalato 2026 brings together distinguished artistic directors, opera managers, conductors and performers from across Europe - professionals who are actively shaping today’s operatic landscape.

The President of the Jury is Nicola Colabianchi, Sovrintendente and Artistic Director of Teatro La Fenice di Venezia.

Applications for Casta Diva Spalato 2026 are arriving from different parts of the world, and we are looking forward to welcoming a new generation of outstanding young opera singers to Split this September.

There are only 2 days left to apply at the Early Bird fee of €100. Early Bird registration is open until August 10 at 11:59 PM (GMT+2), after which the regular participation fee will be €115. Take your place on the stage of the Tijardović Concert Hall and perform in front of an international jury of distinguished opera professionals.
