When Paulina first told me that her future husband had always loved Croatia and that this was why they chose to get married here, it made me think about how differently we see our own home. We often notice the negative, while others see the beauty we have learned to take for granted.
This was their first time in Split, and while planning their wedding, it was clear they knew exactly what they wanted. But once I met them, what stayed with me was their simplicity, spontaneity and genuine joy.
Nothing felt forced. Nothing needed to be extravagant. They simply enjoyed each other, the moment, and everything around them.
And that reminded me of something beautiful:
You don’t need much to create something unforgettable.
At the end of the day, what remains is love.
