Ponta Lopud Film Festival once again brings together a new generation of talented filmmakers from Croatia and across Europe, whose work has already been recognized at leading international festivals and programs.

Their presence reaffirms Lopud as a place where the future and tradition of regional and European cinema meet.

Among them are David Gašo, Rea Rajčić m Marta Eva Mećava, Tin Ostrošić, Tomislav Stojanović, and Lana Barić - the team behind History of Illness.

During the festival, from June 25 to 28, they will participate in masterclass workshops led by world-renowned film artists, building bridges between generations, experiences, and visions.

There’s still time to get your tickets for open-air film screenings under the stars.

As Lukas Dhont’s latest film, Coward, receives recognition following its Cannes premiere and a 13-minute standing ovation, Ponta Lopud Film Festival audiences will have the opportunity to revisit the film that established his worldwide recognition, Close, winner of the Grand Prix at Cannes.

Lukas Dhont will arrive on Lopud to present Close in person on June 26 and to hold sessions with the Fellows during his time on the island.
