Art doesn’t always need white walls.
Last Sunday, “Raíz, arte y fuerza” an art show celebrating Honduras’s National Women’s Day created space for connection — in the middle of a mall.
People who don’t usually visit museums stopped to look, ask, feel.
I shared three pieces:

🖍️ Olas / Movimiento, a collaborative piece inspired by Black and White Line Study 1, but created by children in 1st–6th grade — built through play, curiosity, and collective expression.
What made the day truly special was the visual dialogue: between sculptures and paintings, abstract work, live activities, but mostly the interaction by the audience with the art.
It was a day full of art, conversation, and community.
Thank you to everyone who came by, paused, and believed in the power of art to bring us closer.

🖍️ Olas / Movimiento, una pieza colaborativa hecha con niños y niñas de 1º a 6º grado — construida desde el juego, la curiosidad y el trabajo colectivo.
Lo más bello fue el diálogo que se generó entre esculturas, pinturas, piezas abstractas, las actividades en vivo, y sobre todo las interacciones del público con el arte.
Un día lleno de arte, conversación y comunidad.
Gracias a quienes llegaron, a quienes se quedaron a mirar, y a quienes siguen creyendo que el arte tiene el poder de acercarnos.
