Our College Choir spent a beautiful day at Hong Kong Ocean Park, sharing the spirit of Christmas through heartfelt carols and uplifting harmonies. 🌊🐧✨

We’re truly grateful for the chance to fill the park with song and warmth through our singing, a reminder that even in the bustle of the season, music can bring moments of peace and togetherness. 🎶🌟

What a heartwarming afternoon at the Hong Kong Winter Festival organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board yesterday 🇭🇰❄️

Our String Chamber, College Choir, together with our Brass Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone Ensembles and Quartets were deeply honored to be invited to perform and share the warmth, love, and comfort of this festive season with our city. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who joined us and filled the afternoon with kindness, connection, and gentle Christmas spirit. Your presence made the music even more meaningful. 🌟

A huge congratulations to our Symphonic Band for achieving the Gold Award at the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflow – Senior Band Category! ✨

It was our first time performing in the Senior Band category, and we couldn’t be prouder to bring home Gold 🥇Just a day right after finishing their exams, our amazing musicians poured their hearts into every note, showing passion, dedication, and incredible teamwork. 💪🎵

It was also such a meaningful learning experience to enjoy the inspiring performances from other talented teams, congratulations to all teams for sharing their music and excellence! 👏🎺

Our College Orchestra conducted by Mr Man-ki Ma, assistant conductor, Ms Ida Tse, has been awarded one of the four Gold Award at the Hong Kong Youth Music Interflow 2025 Symphony Orchestra Secondary School Class A 🏆✨

Our first performance of the year featuring Jupiter from Holst’s “The Planets”, was a powerful expression of unity, and passion of our SSC musicians. This achievement reflects the teamwork of every member of our orchestra, as well as the unwavering guidance of our teachers and the incredible encouragement from our parents and school.

Our College Mixed Choir has been invited to perform as a special performing team（特邀表演團隊）, at the Bay Area Children’s Voices – The 2nd Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Children’s Choral Exchange Festival（灣區童韻・第二屆粵港澳大灣區童聲合唱交流展演）at Zhaoqing, organized by the China Chorus Association（中國合唱協會）,the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhaoqing Municipal Committee and the People’s Government of Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City 🎶💫

This special invitation would not have been possible without the continuous support and guidance of our principal, vice principal, assistant principal, teachers and parent, thank you for making this musical journey possible! 💖

We look forward to sharing our voices and spreading harmony across different places! 🌟🎵

Our College String Chamber, String Quartet conducted and coached by Ms. Ida Tse, Brass Ensemble, and Saxophone Ensemble coached by Mr. Man-ki Ma were honored to perform at the Michaelmas Fair 2025 this weekend! 🌿✨ It was a joy to share our music in support of such a meaningful cause.

We are deeply grateful for the warm support of our Council Member, Dr. Janice Tsang, School Chaplain The Revd Will Newman and all parents and teachers whose presence made the day even more special. 💐

🌍🎶 Performance at the Anglican Center in Rome Charity Concert

Our Senior String Quartet coached by Ms Ida Tse and Woodwind Ensemble coached by Mr Man-ki Ma proudly represented St Stephen’s College at the Anglican Centre in Rome (ACR) Charity Concert tonight. ✨

Founded in 1966 after the historic meeting between Pope Paul VI and Archbishop Michael Ramsey, the ACR stands as a permanent Anglican Communion presence in Rome—building bridges between traditions, fostering dialogue, and working for justice, peace, and shared mission worldwide. ✝️🤝

As an Anglican school, we were honored to carry forward this spirit of unity through music, joining hands across cultures and communities to support meaningful work for education and peace. 🎻🎺💜

🎺✨ Our Brass Ensemble to be Broadcast on TV tonight in RTHK TV31✨🎺

Our brass ensemble, winners of the 77th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival (Brass Ensemble Category), was invited by the Education Bureau (EDB) to open the prestigious Kaleidoscope of Arts 2025 (璀璨藝匯 2025)

This signature event hosted by the EDB event brings together top student performers from the Music, Speech, Dance, and Drama Festivals, providing a unique platform to showcase Hong Kong’s artistic excellence and creativity.

It is a tremendous honour that our ensemble’s performance will be broadcast on RTHK TV 31 tonight at 7pm allowing an even wider audience to share in this special moment.

🎶 Day One at Music Elite Advancement (MEGA) Camp was incredible! We started with ice-breakers, outdoor activities, and big games that brought our members closer together. At the end of the day, we reflected the day with our leaders and shared what SSC Music Society means to us through stories from students, teachers, and an ex-member of SSC Muso.
After the reflections, we took a heartfelt journey through our Music Society’s history with our Orchestral Music Director Ma Man-ki, who is also an ex-member of SSC Music Society. We heard touching memories of Muso, gained inspiration from past and present members, and celebrated what makes our SSC music family unique.

To end the day, we gathered around to revisit old photos of SSC Music Society, and feeling grateful for a team of music lovers to work together. The stage is set for more music, memories, and meaning as our camp continues! 🎵✨
