Projekt Migracje jest projektem multidyscyplinarnym, składającym się z trzech części:
• Migracje I – Instalacja z udziałem tańca
• Migracje II – Spektakl taneczny
• Migracje III – Krótkometrażowy film artystyczny

Celem projektu jest przede wszystkim połączenie różnych form artystycznych, takich jak taniec, architektura, film, muzyka, projektowanie mody czy sztuki wizualne.


„Migracje" wydają się być inspirowane współczesnością i tematem migracji ludności. Jest to jednak temat dużo szerszy i ciekawszy. „Migracje” opowiadają bowiem o budowaniu przestrzeni, o wszechobecnym ruchu, który ma swoje pozytywne i negatywne skutki oraz o ewolucji, która zachodzi nie tylko dookoła nas, ale i w nas samych. „Migracje” to zjawisko, które pojawia się w każdej dziedzinie życia od biologii, przez astronomię, aż po socjologię. Project Migration t's a multidisciplinary art project consisting of three parts:

• Migration I – dance installation
• Migration II – interdisciplinary dance performance
• Migration III – short dance video

The aim of the project is primarily to combine various artistic forms such as dance, architecture, film, music, fashion design and visual arts.

Migrations are mainly viewed by the modern time occurences, but there is a broader aspect. "Migrations" is an omnipresent movement that has both positive and negative effects in worldly and personal changes. Migration is a phenomenon that occurs in every area of ​​life from biology, astronomy, and sociology.

Sonia Egner - Originator of Project Migration, professional dancer, choreographer, pilates instructor. Graduated from the Comprehensive Ballet School in Bytom and Codarts Dance Academy in the Netherlands.

In 2012 as an Erasmus scholarship holder, she spent 5 months at the choreography department at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
Her internship was held in the prestigious Dutch dance company Introdans in Arnhem, Holland.

In 2013 she returned to Poland, where she graduated from Intercultural Management Master Studies. She participated in many festivals and dance workshops in Poland and abroad.
Currently, she works as a freelancer and dance instructor. Besides dancing, she is passionate about traveling and exploring other cultures.

Sara Carinci - is an Italian passionate dancer.
She started her career path as a rhythmic gymnast, which lead her to win several competitions and the National Gymnastic Championship in 2004.
She moved to Florence at the age of 18 and graduated at the Academy Dance Opus Ballet. Sara felt in love with modern, contemporary and hip hop dance styles. She took part in many dance competitions and attended various professional workshops all around Europe to improve her skills and expand her knowledge. She participated in an artistic musical project with Brian Bullard, Franco Oppini and Dario Lagostina in Milan.
In 2009, she flew to New York for a professional dance study program at "Steps on Broadway", "Alvin Ayley" and "Broadway Dance Center", to train with choreographers such as Mike Stone, Jason Winter , Jana Hicks, Michael Blake, Jason Parson and many others.
Back in Italy she decided to move to Rome, where she started an intensive contemporary and contamination hip hop training at the National Dance Center "Ials" and "Lanificio Factory" while working as a dance teacher as well.
Sara loves travelling so she moved to Puglia, south Italy, where she performed for Italian's singers "Tormento", "Inoki", "Mad Dopa" ; tour live concerts; video clips, raggae festival for the "Sud Sound System" band ; and Tv talent programme.
While teaching in different schools around Lecce city, she was collaborating and performing with the crew "Radical Movement" contamination hip hop project for two years until she decided to move to Australia where she started her new dance life.
She worked as a dancer for video clips and events and as a choreographer for an Australian Film-Production, director Todd Farley.
Currently she is teaching in different dance schools with her own project Underground Dance Fusion which is more of exploring and experimenting the contemporary technique and floor work.
She keeps looking for new opportunities. Currently she is performing with the contemporary project "Emergence" art director Tamara Violet.

Aneta Socowa - Co-creator of the second part of Migration Project, dancer, physiotherapist and dance instructor.

Dance is her greatest passion, and her beloved techniques in which she trained with wonderful trainers from all over the world are classical, contemporary dance, jazz, salsa, bachata, zouk and Brazilian samba.

For her professional goal, Aneta is constantly expanding knowledge of physiotherapy and bodybuilding techniques in the field of motion education to ensure the highest level of occupational health and safety for her patients.
She intends to train herself throughout her life to become a better and more confident therapist and a more aware person.

Samantha Ambrosy - studied Contemporary dance under the mentorship of Adam Wheeler at SOPA.
After Graduating from her diploma of dance Samantha then was awarded the Alumni Fellowship from SOPA.
Samantha’s interest in contemporary dance started when she first took Adam Wheelers class and from there her love for the industry just grew.
Training under Contemporary dancers such as Alice Lee Holland, Amber Mcartney, Sarah Fiddman and more all these amazing artists inspired Samantha to delve further into the contemporary industry and grew her love for it.
Career highlights
Collaborating and Performing in the fringe festival Co-making a work about reality and personal perception been given the opportunity to co-make an original work was a real highlight for Samantha.
Performing in James Bachelors “Star Study”
These opportunities have really inspired Samantha to delve further into her own work and she is excited to continue down the track of making and collaborating.
Samantha is currently a company member of YW2 and most recently performed in YW2 inaugural season "Pilot "working with choreographer Chris Chua.

Barbara Giupponi - started to study ballet and contemporary technique when she was 7 years old in Italy. Her passion for contemporary dance grew very fast so she decided to improve her studies under the guidelines of teacher Nadia Pellegrini, who taught her the art of choreographic composition through the improvisation.
She took part in many independent projects, participating as a dancer and choreographer. She also has experience in teaching, currently working for Vemor wellness studio in Carlton, Melbourne, as a contemporary dance teacher. She wishes to bring out the best in all of her students by seeing their potential and by sharing her dance ideas. Dance is more then the beauty, flexibility, technique, or competition; her idea of dance is to use the body to express emotions. Dance is the art of movement and music.

Claudia-Lynn Rightmire - a U.S. native, holds a Summa Cum Laude and Alpha Chi Honors BA degree in Dance and Performance Studies from Roger Williams University, in Rhode Island. During her undergraduate exploration, Claudia had the opportunity to perform in works by Helen Simoneau, Sean Curran, Christina Robson, T.J. Lowe, Tiffany Mills, and many others. In 2014, she studied Contemporary Modern, Capoeira, and Flying Low in London, and later found herself in Florida. She was a member of Sarasota Contemporary Dance and Moving Ethos Dance Company, as well as an instructor at The Sarasota Ballet, an adjunct at Booker High School, a master teacher at The New College of Florida funded by The Mellon Grant, North Port High School, and a freelance writer. She has since taken her interest of the human connection within the global community to Melbourne and is excited to be a part of Project Migration.
