Successful public book launch for “Written In Stone” at Eslite Bookstore in Causeway Bay on Saturday, great response from the audience, and a joy to be in such a crowded bookshop, full of people reading and buying books even in the middle of a T3 typhoon!

Saturday 14th of June, from 3 to 4 pm, please join Polo for the presentation of his book “Written In Stone” at Eslite bookstore in Causeway Bay.

Published by Hong Kong University Press, Written In Stone is a book about sculpture and more precisely about site specific projects. It is about Polo’s exploration of how monumental sculptures transform urban spaces into places of meaning and connection.
Structured as an epic narrative inspired by Joseph Campbell’s theory, in Written in stone, Polo’s sculptures become protagonists of our common thirst and desire for adventure, transformation and identity.
With a conversation and reflection with urban planner Catherine Shaw, this book delves into the challenges of creating public art in the dynamic landscapes of 21st century China. See you there!!

Eslite Bookstore, 8-10F, Hysan Place, 500 Hennessy Road, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
