I’ve always wished for longer poses during life drawing,
so I can truly observe before putting brush to paper. Thankful for the professional model’s cooperation
and the carefully arranged space. If everyone could share as well, it would be even more perfect.

Watercolor as a medium requires clear intention and direction with every brushstroke and color layer.
Although it often feels tedious and full of uncertainty,
each stroke also becomes a way to confirm my own thoughts. The biggest challenge is when demonstrating — trying to paint and explain at the same time, I always end up a bit flustered.

有時候一幅作品多用了點時間, 自己就像消失了一樣, 但急着完成又會失去足夠的觀察, 滿足了別人失去了自己, 所以短暫消失一下是有幫助的

Sometimes when I spend a little more time on a piece,
I feel like I disappear into it. But if I rush to finish, I lose the chance to truly observe.
Satisfying others often means losing a part of myself.
So, disappearing for a short while can actually be helpful.
