inspired by the vibrant street stalls of hong kong, the exhibition crafted corridors that invited audiences to explore the interplay of distance, mental and physical connection. kinetic roof echoed the ebb and flow of the sea, evoking the enduring trade and cultural ties between italy and hong kong. the Italian traditional roof emerged as two structures converged, an architectural gesture symbolising exchange and encounter.

paying homage to material heritage, the stall was made from aluminium, recalling the iconic display cabinets that defined hong kong’s retail landscape in the 1980s-1990s. Showcasing the works of 12 artists, each relentlessly expanding the boundaries of their mediums, the exhibition became a living dialogue between people, space, time, material and imagination.
