鮑力卓自1993年起擔任港樂的大提琴首席。他曾與多位傑出的音樂家同台表演，包括曼紐因爵士、卡華高斯、羅斯托波維奇、朱利尼、格 爾吉耶夫、伯恩斯坦、馬捷爾、戴維斯爵士和阿巴度等等。鮑力卓曾與遠東至歐洲的樂團合演過多首重要的大提琴獨奏作品，他亦熱衷於 室樂作品，有機會便經常與朋友和樂團同事合奏。

鮑力卓所用的大提琴由安德里亞‧瓜奈里於1674年在意大利克里蒙納所製，全球僅餘九把，極為罕有。

Richard Bamping has been the Principal Cellist of the HK Phil since 1993. He has performed with many of the finest musicians of recent history—Lord Yehudi Menuhin, Leonidas Kavakos, Mstislav Rostropovich, Carlo Maria Guilini, Valery Gergiev, Leonard Bernstein, Lorin Maazel, Sir Colin Davis and Claudio Abbado, to name but a few.

Bamping has performed many of the staples of the solo cello repertoire with orchestras from Europe to the Far East. He has a great passion for playing chamber music with friends and colleagues whenever he gets the chance.
Bamping's cello, dated 1674 was made in Cremona by Andrea Guarneri and is one of only nine surviving examples of his work.

KJ黃家正的音樂事業涉獵廣泛，除了作頻密的個人演出以外，更擔任Music Lab每年舉辦的「本地薑音樂節」藝術總監，策劃連串新穎跳脫 的演出節目;他亦組織海外巡演，筆耕不輟為媒體供稿，並主持個人音樂節目。透過音樂連結群眾，是家正抱持至今的信念與創作原動力。

2009年，家正的音樂才華在金馬獎得獎紀錄片《音樂人生》的鏡頭下嶄露頭角。得益於羅乃新及郭嘉特兩位良師的鋼琴訓練，家正其後負 笈美國印地安那大學伯明頓分校，師從Emile Naoumoff教授四年，並於各大型音樂節中亮相。家正曾兩次勝出美國印地安那大學協奏曲比 賽，並躋身多個大型音樂比賽的最後階段。2018年，他在阿拉斯加E國際鋼琴比賽中獲選為冠軍及最佳室內樂演出。

Praised for his originality and exceptional musicianship, KaJeng was the winner at the Alaska International Piano E-Competition 2018, and the Maria Canals International Piano Competition 2019, as well as competing at the Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition 2021 and was semi-finalist at Liszt-Utrecht International Piano Competition 2022. He received a commendation by the Hong Kong government and has been selected to represent Hong Kong at multiple international platforms, performing at Esplanade in Singapore, Shanghai Concert Hall, Palau de la Musica Catalana, Cremona Musica, Weiwuying and the Taipei Concert Hall. The featured documentary about his growth, “KJ: Music & Life”, was awarded Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards.

Besides his activities as a performer, he is involved in collaborative projects involving modern dance and theatres. Recently serving as Artist-in-residence at Zuni Icosahedron, they forged an ongoing relationship experimenting various productions crossing classical music. In 2020, KaJeng’s debut CD, “Seasons of Life” was released under the Ginger Muse label with critical acclaim. In 2022, he released his second album, “God Pray Love”. At Music Lab, he built a creative hub where he can attempt for concerts of unconventional forms and ideas. Over the years, he has already presented solo programmes exploring themes such as “Seasons of Life”, “Tribute to Death”, “Fast & Difficult”, “Ex Ninilo”, “Mostly Bach & All Mozart”, “Five Elements”, “Oriental Russian Soul”. As a creative force, Music Lab has grown its own festival, celebrating artists with creative thoughts and promoting cultural talents of Hong Kong. Currently from 2024, Music Lab is also relaunching their official Music Lab Festival, presenting artists of different backgrounds and genres on stage.

中國音樂學院的特聘中提琴教授劉子正，以中提琴獨奏及室樂演奏家身份活躍於國際樂壇，其 演奏獲《費城詢問報》稱許為「精准優雅」。劉氏曾在多項國際賽事中獲獎，其中包括2014 年的普林羅士國際中提琴大賽及2012年的美國星光藝術家全國面試。他演跡遍及北美、歐洲 及亞洲。

劉子正曾經以獨奏者身份與香港管弦樂團，費城室樂團及特倫赫姆獨奏家樂團合作。他又曾於 德國柏林的基辛格頒獎禮上亮相，並且與享負盛名的東京四重奏同台演出。劉子正在學期間為 寇蒂斯學院交響樂團的中提琴首席。此外，他又曾經擔任上海交響樂團首席，以及聖地亞哥交 響樂團及哈利斯科州愛樂樂團的客席首席中提琴。

劉子正先後畢業於寇蒂斯學院及柯爾本音樂學院，師承中提琴家迪亞茲、克萊蒂及費拉舒曼。 劉氏亦曾經接受著名的艾默森弦樂四重奏、瓜奈利四重奏及東京四重奏的室樂指導。

劉氏曾在世界各地舉行大師班，包括了倫敦皇家音樂學院、澳洲墨爾本音樂學院、邁阿密的新 世界藝術學院、華盛頓音樂學院及香港浸會大學等。

Distinguished Professor of Viola at the China Conservatory of Music in Beijing since 2019, violist Born Lau has appeared internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and principal violist. Praised for his “immaculately refined” playing (The Philadelphia Inquirer), Born Lau is a prizewinner of the Primrose International Viola Competition and the Astral National Auditions. He enjoys a career spanning three continents.

Career highlights include performances as a soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia and Trondheim Soloists, performance at the Henry A. Kissinger Prize ceremony in Berlin, and a concert with the esteemed Tokyo String Quartet in Los Angeles. Lau has served as Principal Violist of Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, as well as Guest Principal Violist of San Diego Symphony, Curtis Symphony Orchestra, and Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra.

Lau received his education from the Curtis Institute of Music, and the Colburn Conservatory of Music. He has studied with viola teachers including Roberto Diaz, Paul Coletti and Richard Fleischman. Chamber music studies with members of the Emerson, Guarneri and Tokyo String Quartets.

As an educator, Lau has given viola master classes throughout the world, including the Royal Academy of Music, Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Soochow University, the New World School of the Arts, Washington Conservatory of Music, and the Hong Kong Baptist University.

董書廷自2019年擔任馬勒樂團藝術總監吳懷世的助理指揮、及後為樂團的客席指揮，多次帶領團員為觀眾帶來精湛的演出。我們熱切期待這位出色的音樂家繼續與樂團併發更多火花，一起演奏更多動人的旋律！

董書廷

二十歲指揮家及小號手董書廷生於香港，自六歲開始學習小號與鋼琴。畢業於契天音樂學院，董氏先就讀於英國皇家音樂學院，師隨 Mark Calder、James Fountain、Kate Moore 與 Paul Sharp，並獲得裘槎基金會資助全額獎學金。

董氏曾為香港兒童交響樂團首席小號手，曾隨團前往芬蘭、瑞典、俄羅斯、泰國以及中國巡演。董氏曾到維也納金色大廳、悉尼歌劇院、芬蘭大廈和圖爾庫音樂廳等場地表演，他更於2019年以獨奏者身份隨團到泰國演出。董氏曾與安東尼奧 • 帕帕諾、Mike Lovatt、卡素文、Ben Palmer、Franz Krager、葉詠詩及廖國敏等著名音樂家合作演出，亦曾參加 Gustav Melander、Wim Van Hasselt、Paul Archibald 和 Henning Kraggerud的大師班。

董書廷曾師隨何博文學習指揮，啟蒙老師亦包括杜程和Franz Krager，指揮過的樂團包括馬勒樂團、契天交響樂團、英國皇家音樂學院銅管樂團、聖士提反書院交響樂團、Hong Kong Youth Philharmonia以及他在2020年成立的Clausura Chamber Orchestra。董氏曾於不同大師班中向多位首屈一指的指揮學習，當中包括Ben Gernon、Mark Heron、Jonathan Mann、Toby Purser、Jac Van Steen、Kenneth Woods 及在 Luigi Gaggero 的大師班中指揮基輔交響樂團。

Stone Tung

20 year-old conductor and trumpet player Stone Tung was born in Hong Kong and started learning trumpet at the age of 6, alongside piano. A graduate of the Chetham’s School of Music, he is now studying at the Royal College of Music, London, with Mark Calder, James Fountain, Kate Moore and Paul Sharp on a full scholarship supported by the Croucher Hong Kong Charitable Trust.

Former Principal Trumpet of the Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra, Stone has been on tour with the orchestra to Finland, Sweden, Russia, Thailand and China. He has performed in world prestige venues such as the Musikverein in Vienna, Sydney Opera House, The Finlandia Hall, The St. Petersburg State Academic Capella, Turku Concert Hall, Cadogan Hall and the Bridgewater Hall amongst all. In summer 2019, Stone performed as a soloist with the orchestra in Thailand, celebrating the establishment of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok. He has worked with world-renowned musicians such as Charles Castleman, Kevin John Edusei, Edward Gregson, Franz Krager, Lio Kuokman, Mike Lovatt, Ben Palmer, Sir Antonio Pappano and Yip Wing-Sie amongst others. He has participated in masterclasses with Gustav Melander, Wim Van Hasselt, Paul Archibald and Henning Kraggerud.

Stone started studying conducting with Dr Jerome Hoberman and also counts Franz Krager and Colin Touchin as his mentors. He has conducted the Gustav Mahler Orchestra, Chetham’s Symphony Orchestra, Royal College of Music Brass Ensemble, St Stephen’s College Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Philharmonia and the Clausura Chamber Orchestra, which he founded in 2020. He has participated in a masterclass with Ben Gernon, Mark Heron, Jonathan Mann, Toby Purser, Jac Van Steen, Kenneth Woods and Luigi Gaggero, in which he conducted the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra.

KJ黃家正的音樂事業涉獵廣泛，除了作頻密的個人演出以外，更擔任Music Lab每年舉辦的「本地薑音樂節」藝術總監，策劃連串新穎跳脫的演出節目。他亦組織多個海外巡演，筆耕不輟為媒體供稿，並主持個人音樂節目。透過音樂連結群眾，是家正抱持至今的信念，亦是他持續為觀眾帶來驚喜想法與計劃的原動力。

Music Lab是家正推動的創意協作平台，亦是實現各種主流以外的想法，打破音樂會既定形式的試驗場。過去幾年，他主辦了多場獨奏音樂會，探索不同主題，例如《人生如戲》、《死亡奏鳴》、《指魔俠－火拼時速》、《指魔俠－神唔神？》；室樂會《陰霾中的自由》、《琴戀克拉拉》、《好法國》。2017年，家正與色士風手孫穎麟、世界冠軍口琴手何卓彥組成三重奏組合，呈獻演出《SMASH》。Music Lab作為本地創意力量，積極推動自家音樂節，擁抱創意無限的藝術家，並推動香港發展本地文化人才。隨着「本地薑音樂節」邁向第三屆，Music Lab與家正將繼續發展原創節目，並進軍巡演臺灣、澳門、馬來西亞及中國的多個城市。

After studies with Nancy Loo and Gabriel Kwok in Hong Kong, KaJeng further his training under Prof. Emile Naoumoff at the Indiana University. Under the guidance of Prof. Ronan O’Hora with full scholarship, he graduated as an Artistic Diploma candidate at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he is now a Junior Fellow. With Prof. Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist, KaJeng now serves as Artist in Residence at the Ingesund Piano Center. KaJeng is also on the roster of Talented Unlimited in the UK.
