Kale haters and lovers! Try this Crispy Kale Pancake
Keto friendly, Low Carb, Gluten-free High Protein, Vegan, Post-Workout Snack or Meal!
Ingredients:
1. Garbanzo flour
2. Boiled and mashed mixed beans
3. Finely Chopped dry kale using blender
4. Garlic and baking powder, dry herbs of your choice
5. Extra Virgin Olive oil for pan fry
6. Optional grated smoked gouda cheese toppings
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and leave it to dry up a bit in the refrigerator.
Take the bowl preferably after 1-2 hours and mix well again.
On a non stick pan pour a few drops of Extra Virgin olive oil and spread across the pan evenly.
Take a scoop (half a cup) of the mix and pour it on the non stick pan.
Flatten out the pancake with the back of spoon.
Cook for 3-4 mins on medium to low heat on each side.
Cover with a lid partially intermittently to ensure even cooking.
Optional last step, for extra flavor grated a few strands of smoked gouda cheese on top. Turn off the heat and cover the non stick for a minute.
Enjoy the extra crispy and cheesy bits of gouda cheese on the sides. They sizzle into cheesy crispness!
