A haunted house is at its most scariest part when it’s nearing completion. The construction crew, usually the loudest bunch, has already left the site. To test the mechanisms and the sound system, the machinery has to stay powered on around the clock.
Usually, during the final week, we start doing ‘internal trials.’ Whoever loses at Rock-Paper-Scissors has to walk through the entire attraction alone while everyone else watches the CCTV feed. We’re all in agreement: the terror level is absolutely off the charts.
