Fondazione Dries Van Noten proudly presents THE ONLY TRUE PROTEST IS BEAUTY, that opened 25th April in Venice. The Presentation stands as an exploration of beauty as a force of provocation, reflection and transformation while the title draws from a line by American songwriter and political activist Phil Ochs, whose songs became protest anthems of the 1960s: “In such ugly times, the only true protest is beauty”. Here, the concept of beauty is not understood as mere prettiness, but as a moment of intensity: a charged encounter, an unexpected harmony, or a subtle disturbance capable of unsettling, awakening, and creating space for the new.

A seminal design collaboration between The Fieldbar Co., the Cape Town-based purveyor of chic outdoor accessories, and interiors stalwart Weylandts unveils a collection that elevates the ritual of al fresco entertaining. These covetable, insulated vessels transcend the purely practical, emerging as beautifully crafted design objects destined for sophisticated gatherings - from the Atlantic-facing terraces of Cape Town to the sky-high harbour rooftops of Hong Kong. Defined by a rich, new signature colourway, the collection discreetly hints at its perfect intended cargo: the essential ingredients for a decadent Espresso Martini.

Michelangelo Pistoletto’s screen takeover is dedicated to Preventive Peace, featuring his new public work, Three Mirrors, which positions art as a form of civic action. Created in partnership with United Nations OCHA during the 87 million life-saving appeal, the project includes a series of 12 hand-signed editions that directly support humanitarian, public, and educational programmes.
