About the Umoja Legacy Festival
The is a vibrant three-day celebration of culture, history, and community-driven economic development. Scheduled for Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August 2026, the festival honours the legacy, resilience, and contributions of Lindeners of African ancestry, highlighting the pivotal role the community has played in shaping the township and the nation of Guyana.
The festival brings together a rich programme of activities under one unified banner:
- The is a prestigious recognition ceremony honouring outstanding leaders and changemakers who continue to advance Linden’s legacy through service, innovation, leadership, and community development;
