Starting at the age of 15, I picked up the guitar learning some recognizable riffs from Boston and Led Zepplin from some good friends of mine. From there, I developed my rhythm playing skills until years later when I started to learn how to play lead, mostly from reading tab and constant listening to guitar solos attempting to figure them out. Improvisational and songwriting skills came much later
in life as well as singing backup and eventually singing lead in some songs including those I have written. I prefer playing guitar over singing, but I really don't mind singing a few tunes every now and then. For me, learning how to become a better guitarist is what I'm more interested in than becoming a lead vocalist, especially since I am not the entertaining Frontman type. I find the guitar to be more of a mystery that I still need to unravel and always continue to learn how to play.
