Silent Monuments
In a world that speaks too loudly, these works are whispers.
Each piece is born from silence — shaped by hand, guided by breath, and touched by light.
Paper, plaster, concrete, and gold leaf become meditations on stillness, fragility, and form.
The essence of Silent Monuments lies in the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi —
the quiet beauty of imperfection, the dignity of simplicity,
and the serenity found in time’s gentle erosion.
Every lamp, sculpture, and object is handmade in my atelier on the island of Rhodes,
where the sea and wind remind matter how to soften.
Light is not decoration here — it is a voice,
revealing the invisible,
honoring the spaces between things.
These are not objects to be owned,
but presences to be felt.
Each one a silent monument —
to transience, to devotion,
to the calm that lives within all things.
Made slowly. Made with devotion. Made to remember silence.
