Μετά την πρώτη μας διοργάνωση του Ιουλίου, που ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία μας, η δημιουργική καρδιά του φεστιβάλ συνεχίζει να χτυπά στον Πολιχνίτο.

Η έκθεση φωτογραφίας του Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos ανοίγει ξανά τις πόρτες της στο Κίτρινο Καφενείο ή αλλιώς Καφενείο Περδικούλη.

Πέμπτη 13 & Δευτέρα 17 Αυγούστου, 19:00–22:00

Ελάτε να τα πούμε από κοντά. Να ζήσουμε ξανά την έκθεση, να γνωριστούμε, να ακούσουμε τις ιδέες σας. Οι επόμενες διοργανώσεις θα χτιστούν με όσους θέλουν να είναι μέρος τους και αυτές οι δύο βραδιές είναι μια καλή αρχή.

This festival was made by people.

By everyone who said “yes,” who gave their time, their spaces, their products, their energy, their ideas, their hands and their trust.

The first Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos was not created by a few.
It was created by a community.

To our volunteers, supporters, organising team and strategic partner CREATED - thank you.

This belongs to all of us.

Από όλους όσοι είπαν «ναι», που έδωσαν τον χρόνο τους, τους χώρους τους, τα προϊόντα τους, την ενέργεια, τις ιδέες, τα χέρια και την εμπιστοσύνη τους.

Το πρώτο Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos δεν δημιουργήθηκε από λίγους.
Δημιουργήθηκε από μια κοινότητα.

Hippocrates Thermal Springs Lesvos Hippocrates Thermal Springs Lesvos x PCFL26

The thermal baths of Polichnitos are one of the great natural treasures of Lesvos — and a defining part of the identity of this place.

With water reaching up to 95°C, they are among the hottest springs in Europe: a rare landscape of stone, nature, warmth and quiet beauty.

We are very grateful to Mythical Coast Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat and Hippocrates Thermal Springs Lesvos, one of the main supporters of Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026, for supporting this first edition of the festival.

On Sunday, 5 July, the thermal baths will open their doors to festival visitors for a special free open day.

The space will also host “Pyrifte”, an installation by Greek artist Dionisis Christofilogiannis Dionisis Christofilogiannis , curated by Anja Troelenberg Anja Troe .

Hippocrates Thermal Springs Lesvos x PCFL26

Τα θερμά λουτρά του Πολιχνίτου είναι ένας από τους μεγάλους φυσικούς θησαυρούς της Λέσβου — και σημαντικό κομμάτι της ταυτότητας αυτού του τόπου.

Με νερό που φτάνει έως τους 95°C, συγκαταλέγονται στις θερμότερες πηγές της Ευρώπης: ένα σπάνιο τοπίο πέτρας, φύσης, θερμότητας και ήσυχης ομορφιάς.

Ευχαριστούμε θερμά το Mythical Coast και τα Hippocrates Thermal Springs Lesvos, έναν από τους βασικούς υποστηρικτές του Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026, για τη στήριξή τους στην πρώτη διοργάνωση του φεστιβάλ.

Την Κυριακή 5 Ιουλίου, τα θερμά λουτρά ανοίγουν τις πόρτες τους στους επισκέπτες του φεστιβάλ για μια ξεχωριστή ημέρα ελεύθερης εισόδου.

Στον χώρο θα παρουσιαστεί επίσης το «Πυρίφτε», εγκατάσταση του Έλληνα καλλιτέχνη Διονύση Χριστοφιλογιάννη, σε επιμέλεια της Anja Troelenberg.

The taste of Lesvos at PCFL26.

Ouzo is part of the identity of Lesvos — a taste connected to memory, hospitality, summer evenings, shared tables and the spirit of the island.

We are very happy and grateful to have Ouzo Giannatsi from Plomari Ούζο Γιαννατσή as one of the main supporters of Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.

Their support brings to the festival not only a product, but a true flavour of Lesvos — the taste of tradition, place and celebration.

Το ούζο είναι κομμάτι της ταυτότητας της Λέσβου — μια γεύση συνδεδεμένη με τη μνήμη, τη φιλοξενία, τα καλοκαιρινά βράδια, τα κοινά τραπέζια και το πνεύμα του νησιού.

Είμαστε πολύ χαρούμενοι και ευγνώμονες που το Ούζο Γιαννατσή από το Πλωμάρι είναι ένας από τους βασικούς υποστηρικτές του Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.

Thank you to the Austrian Embassy in Athens.

We are very happy to share that the Austrian Embassy in Athens, with the support of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, is supporting Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.

Their support made possible the translation of Julia Windischbauer’s Julia Windischbauer film Callas Darling from German into Greek, translated by Vitus Bachhausen Vitus Bachhausen , allowing the film to meet the local audience of Lesvos with Greek subtitles.

This gesture means a lot to us. It brings Austrian cinema closer to our community and supports the festival’s mission: to create bridges between artists, places, languages and audiences.

A warm thank you to the Austrian Embassy in Athens and to the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs for standing with us in this first edition of PCFL26.

Με μεγάλη χαρά ανακοινώνουμε ότι η Αυστριακή Πρεσβεία στην Αθήνα, με την υποστήριξη του Ομοσπονδιακού Υπουργείου Ευρωπαϊκών και Διεθνών Υποθέσεων της Αυστρίας, στηρίζει το Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.

Η στήριξή τους έκανε δυνατή τη μετάφραση της ταινίας Callas Darling της Julia Windischbauer από τα γερμανικά στα ελληνικά, σε μετάφραση του Vitus Bachhausen, ώστε η ταινία να συναντήσει το κοινό της Λέσβου με ελληνικούς υπότιτλους.

Αυτή η χειρονομία σημαίνει πολλά για εμάς. Φέρνει τον αυστριακό κινηματογράφο πιο κοντά στην τοπική μας κοινότητα και στηρίζει την αποστολή του φεστιβάλ: να δημιουργεί γέφυρες ανάμεσα σε καλλιτέχνες, τόπους, γλώσσες και κοινό.

MEET THE ARTISTS | ARTECO Arteco - Nikritikos

We are happy to welcome Arteco to the Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.

From Lesvos, Arteco will close the festival with a farewell beach celebration in Nifida - a night of house and dance music by the sea, for everyone who wants to keep moving until late.

FIM Collective was born from a simple idea: that the most meaningful stories are created together.

For the first time, Clélia Odette , and brought the image2meaning From Image 2 Meaning - Workshop workshop to Polichnitos, inviting emerging photographers to explore memory, place, and everyday life through documentary photography. The resulting works, created during the workshop and curated by Dario Veréb, with editing by Romina Ruda 🌙 —will be presented as part of the festival.

Because every great festival is also a place of learning, exchange, and new beginnings.

We are proud to welcome FIM Collective .ilia Philipp Hafner, AAC .enghaus Ecem Demir Vitus Bachhausen Marie Kenny Sina Opalka to the Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos 2026.
