Wonderful memories from May 2022: Semiotic Sanctuary on Ikaria with Adelina, Alexandra, Remo, John and Maria.
The idea to organise the event was impulsive, we announced it just 3 weeks before the event started, so only the most adventurous and spontaneous semioticians came. We improvised a lot and spent a very fulfilling week, making workshops on the semiotics of resilience and sharing case studies on various topics: ecological semiotics, face representations in digital world, visual codes of sweetness, semiotics of parenthood and other. Among these, we tried not to forget about the beaches, fantastic local food and wine :)
