An old fragment from my digital archive.

I made this photograph around 1997.

For nearly three decades it sat quietly on a hard drive, waiting.

Much of my work begins this way—not with a blank canvas, but by rediscovering forgotten images collected over years of looking.

I was drawn to the colour, the movement, and the beautiful chaos. It reminds me that creativity rarely emerges from perfect order. Sometimes it’s the tangled moments that carry the most energy.

We spend our lives looking at faces, searching for truth, intention and meaning. Sometimes we see only the surface. Sometimes we recognise something deeper.

These three works explore the space between observation and intuition.
