Katia Kolovea founded Archifos as a business in 2020, in London, with the mission to support the Lighting Industry, communicate their brand messages, build awareness for their products, and their lighting designs and build trustful relationships, focusing on storytelling and the power of light. Katia has been awarded the 40under40 lighting, she is an experienced lighting designer, an advocate of the Lighting Profession involved in successful initiatives and global projects, a judge of the LIT Design Awards, and a council member of the Society of Light and Lighting. Lastly, in case you are wondering about our name and what's behind it. ARCHIFOS [ar-ki] + [phós]: The word is a blend of the Greek words: Αρχή “Archi” + Φως “Fos” > translated as “start” + “light”. The light that allows you to see and experience the surrounding space. The light that makes you feel and observe!
