I’m delighted to join the jury in the Lighting category for the Greek GRAIL Awards 2026!
I’m truly looking forward to discovering local projects that combine technical consistency, narrative, creativity, and sensitivity, works that reflect the evolution and extroversion of Greek design, both at home and beyond.

Η , αρχιτέκτονας φωτισμού και ιδρύτρια της Archi/fos στο Λονδίνο, είναι μέλος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής των 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗟 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.�Με σπουδές στο KTH Royal Institute of Technology στη Σουηδία, εξειδικεύεται στη στρατηγική επικοινωνία για brands και δημιουργικές ομάδες που δραστηριοποιούνται στο φως.
Μέσα από την ARCHIFOS, συνεργάζεται με εταιρείες και designers σε 15 χώρες και 4 ηπείρους, συνδέοντας τον φωτισμό με τη δημιουργική αφήγηση και τη βιωματική εμπειρία.�Το έργο της έχει αναγνωριστεί διεθνώς με βραβεία όπως τα Darc Awards και 40 Under 40 Lighting Design Award, ενώ είναι ενεργό μέλος πρωτοβουλιών όπως τα Silhouette Awards, το The Lighting Police και το Women in Lighting.

✨ And just like that, I opened my eyes to the magical island of Santorini for the first time ever!

As someone surrounded by global lighting friends who’ve spoken so highly of my homeland and specifically this island, I’m beyond grateful to be born in such a beautiful country and had the chance to be a digital nomad for a few days and combine Archifos work with breathtaking views and relaxation🤍🇬🇷.

This last-minute trip came at the perfect time—an unexpected gift when I needed it most. 💫 My cousin called last week, saying they won a trip but couldn’t go and asked if I wanted to take it. How could I say no?!

Dealing with loss again this month is challenging, and back-to-back grief over the past two years has been tough. But, as Leonard Cohen says, “There’s a crack in everything—that’s how the light gets in.” 🌟

I dedicate this trip to my Leso💔 who taught me to truly LIVE, cherish every moment, and that it’s not the years we count, but the stories, the friendships and the memories we create in our life journey. Until we meet again…🕊️

The old me would have said no to this short notice trip, prioritizing work over life. But not anymore! I’ve learned to balance both, and it’s been the most healing and rewarding experience for Katia and Archi/fos growing team 💖🚀

Hello to my worldwide friends! ✨
After some much-needed time off and personal reflections, I’m writing this with immense gratitude and excitement 🙏🥹.

This new season kicks off with my very first business trip to a place I’ve never been—Tbilisi, Georgia 🇬🇪 ✈️.

I’ve been invited by two talented young women, Ana and Mariam Tavartkiladze, who are hosting the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 event in their country! 👏🏻 Huge congratulations to them and everyone involved in making this action possible!

I’m truly honored to be part of this inaugural as a speaker, sharing my passion and insights on the value of well-designed, intentional lighting—introducing the Georgian business sector, architects, interior designers, and contractors to the transformative power of lighting in our world 🚀

And now, the personal part ⬇️

Another dream is coming true—combining my love for connecting with people, exploring new destinations and cultures, contributing to meaningful ventures, supporting Women in Lighting, and stepping out of my comfort zone to speak openly and from the heart to a new audience.

Lately, I’ve felt the power of Steve Jobs’ words: “𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝; 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬.” Every experience is leading me here, and I’m so grateful.

It is such a fantastic feeling when you are a few days before the launch of an exciting project you have been working on with an incredible team of like-minded, passionate people! A collaboration between DiGidot Technologies and Archi/fos! 🤩

I won’t say much yet as this event is taking place this Thursday, the 15th of February, and there will be plenty of time to reflect on it and share insights and takeaways for everyone after it! 🤭

One of the most immersive experiences I have ever been in my life. 🤩

✨The moment when time froze and doesn’t matter where you are and what time it is.
✨The moment when your senses are fully activated and you can feel your heartbeat.
✨The moment when you feel that the world is filled with endless possibilities.
✨The moment when your INSPIRATION level hits 120%

👉 The moment when you feel truly HAPPY and CONNECTED with your inner shelf.

This is what I felt on my visit to the Thin Air Exhibition installation 3.24 by the creative duo Kristina Karpysheva and Alexandr Letsius of 404.zero
