Peace Esso Adventures was deeply honored to welcome Modou Lamin Age-Almusaf Sowe to our stall at the GCCI Trade Fair.

Modou Lamin Age-Almusaf Sowe is a renowned Gambian creative writer, poet, playwright, novelist, literary activist, and scholar whose work continues to inspire many young people across Africa and beyond. Born in Bakau Newtown and raised in Brikama, he has emerged as one of West Africa’s most promising literary voices through his dedication to storytelling, education, youth empowerment and African identity.

He is the founder of the Young Writers Association of The Gambia (YWAG) and has also served on the Africa Youth Advisory Board on Disaster Risk Reduction under the African Union Commission. His remarkable literary works include Don’t Judge the Book by Its Cover, The Throne of the Ghost, The Memories of Reflection, and AfriKa Not AfriCa.

His visit to our stall was inspiring and meaningful, highlighting the important connection between tourism, culture, literature, and youth development in The Gambia. We truly appreciate his support and engagement with Peace Esso Adventures.
