The Women and Children Aid the Gambia (WoCAG) Children & Youth Summer Camp 2026 was officially declared open, bringing together children, young people, partners, facilitators and stakeholders for a journey of learning, leadership, and empowerment.
As a proud partner, Peace Esso Adventures was honored to be represented by our National Coordinator, Mr. Lamin Saidykhan, who delivered a partnership statement reaffirming our commitment to empowering young people through education, adventure and domestic tourism.
In his remarks, Mr. Saidykhan shared the vision and mission of Peace Esso Adventures, emphasizing our belief that tourism is more than travel, it is a powerful tool for education, cultural appreciation, national unity and youth empowerment. He encouraged participants to embrace opportunities to discover their country’s rich heritage and become ambassadors for sustainable domestic tourism.
He also highlighted the importance of engaging children and young people in meaningful educational and recreational activities that build confidence, leadership, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. By investing in today’s generation, we are shaping tomorrow’s leaders and creating a brighter future for The Gambia.
