The awareness for mental health in the workplace is on the rise the pressure, burnout, stress, and emotional weight many staff members face is real, and it deserves to be acknowledged openly.

But there’s another side…

Management and business leaders are also absorbing pressure constantly. They carry the responsibility of supporting teams, making difficult decisions, handling expectations, and often dealing with their own personal mental battles quietly in the background.

Good leadership doesn’t mean being unaffected.
It often means carrying your own struggles while still trying to create stability for others.

The reality is that workplace mental health should never become “staff vs management.” Everyone is human. Everyone feels pressure differently. And healthier workplaces are built when there’s understanding in both directions.

Support, communication, empathy, and honesty matter at every level.

In this episode of Across The Table, I sit down with Sean Keating to discuss one of the most important and difficult conversations facing society today — su***de, mental health, and why su***de rates are significantly higher in men.

We talk about the pressures many men face in silence, the stigma around opening up, emotional isolation, and why so many people struggle to ask for help. This is an honest and thoughtful conversation aimed at raising awareness and encouraging more open discussion around mental health.

If this conversation resonates with you, or someone you know may be struggling, please remember that support is available and speaking to someone can make a difference.

Thank you to Regus for hosting this episode.
