🔴HANDS OF SILK AND GOLD🔴

This painting is special to me because it was my first commission. It helped me pay for my art supplies for university, which was a big deal at the time.

The hardest part of this painting was getting the textures right. I had to make the metal look shiny and reflective, the fabric soft and smooth, and the skin realistic. Each material was different, so it took a lot of practice to get it just right.

Overall, this painting was a great learning experience and a big step in my art journey, both creatively and practically.

These digital drawings challenged me to improve my accuracy and try out new tools in Procreate. I experimented with different brushes, layers, and blending options to see how they worked. It was a learning process, and while it was tough at times, I gained more confidence in using the app and refining my skills.

I’m really proud of this drawing because of how realistic it turned out. The attention to detail and the way I captured the texture and shading make it feel almost lifelike. It’s one of my best pieces yet, and I can see the growth in my skills. Looking at it, I feel a sense of accomplishment knowing that I was able to bring my vision to life so authentically. It truly reflects the effort and practice I’ve put into honing my craft.

I've been an artist since I was 12, and over the years, I've grown and experimented with my craft. Now, I’m ready for a change — a fresh image and a focus on mastering my skills. I want to push my boundaries, explore new techniques, and take my art to the next level.

As a Gibraltar resident, I hold my culture close, and I want to keep expressing that through my art, blending local influences and traditions into my work. One of my goals is to start selling commissions, creating custom pieces that resonate with others.
