A CURSE BY SATURN
BY: FK DE GAZA🪶📜

A stored dizziness in a tun
Soaked a mind you dared to stun
Oh Lucifer…my angelic sun
Why forsaken the heaven in my warmth, Satan?
Why flee to earth with your wedded ring, I stole from Saturn?

Did you know how soaked I left the mind of Saturn?
How dizzy is her world, still stored in a tun?
Her heaven for me and my repaid hell could stun?
Did you know I dared leave her as Satan?
I fled, rather coming to you as your pious titan!

RAINBOW MADE 🌈

I claim thee in the art of a hue
Of indigo, violet, of red, and blue
Rainbow Made, so your colors are true
A snowed veil is the crown of you
With a drop of melanin on every pair of a shoe
Be not be frozen by photography when indeed a dew
Be made into traveling rivers when morning is due

OUR FATHER LAND 🇳🇬
BY: FK DE GAZA🪶📜

Our soil drenched drunk, of
Our bodily wine from our arterial tank, of
A spill by blades and metallic stones that dared to shrunk, off
The throats and bodies of folks without guards, folks without a rank,

Puff; is the final plea from our lungs said without a tongue, “muff”
“Their bodies into pieces” they say like a prank, “snuff”
“The remaining captives should they dare not become our bank”, “stuff”
“Their cries and that of the worries of their loved ones into our mercy so blank”,

Wrath; in the vulnerable has grown soft from as hard as a chunk, chaff
Are the higher office holders whose promises to us are a flunk, “enough”
We say for our mortal lives that into fear already sunk, bluff
Is a sole lamp in our minds, though reality of the dark shall debunk.

POET’S WORDS: Ghana 🇬🇭 stands in solidarity with its neighbor 🇳🇬. A call for a stop of the massacre in Nigeria by bandits, terrorists, and other militant organizations that are responsible for the lost of innocent lives!

I, AN ISLAND

Every honey, from every bee
Every sweetness, I allow it be

Every salt, from every sea
Every tastiness, I repel from me

Every beauty, from every she
From every prettiness, I run and flee

Every door, and every key
Every solitariness, I lock to see

Every remorse, in every plea
For every forgiveness, I seek from He

CARVED FROM TALES
(An image inspired poem by Fk De Gaza).

Think you have seen me,
Can you see those your thoughts?
There are other faces behind me,
How blindly can you see masks?
You recognize the flesh in you in me,
Is sunset true to daylight at dusk?

Either old or young, their age, you wonder
Called me a female then ask of their gender
You see my eyes but theirs stare from under
I and they, the sailing clock might still asunder
“They” are the mystery in me you would ponder
They differ like the rhythm of the first and third stanza

All in me, for I was born
My faces are “they” which are torn
They hang with tales the clock won
They hang in a schedule to be worn
They are here and they are gone,
Like the similarity of night and dawn!

THE INTERPLAY OF A JOURNEY
BY: FK DE GAZA🪶📜

The bricks in your breath
Fell a meteor, onto the earth
Causing as if a heap of wrath
In the womb of the ground, your path
Your newer being, your bath.

Days, and every month
Summed up by time, a math
Spiced up by the sun, a chef
Interplayed by nature, a ref

But the bearer too, nurtures a mirth
Knocking with the cries at birth.
And to eat and drink, a worth.
While belonging to solitude and family, a warmth.

EID MUBARAK TO ALL MUSLIMS
May our prayers be answered in Allah’s merciful name, may our futures be fulfilled, may the sick among us be healed, and may the dead be rested in Jannah.
