Naa Gbewaa Pukpaŋŋu Tamboo Pɔ'a Naaba invites the general public to her fire festival celebration tomorrow at the Tamboo Palace in Dindanni.

The Tamboo Pɔ'a Naaba is the leader of all female chiefs in the Mamprugu kingdom and is second in command after the Nayiri. All chiefs in the Mamprugu kingdom pay allegiance to her like they do to the Nayiri.

ASI Abu Mohamed Yahaya at the Migration Management Bureau of the Ghana Immigration Service headquarters in Accra is giving traveling guidance in the Mampruli language to prospective travelers outside the shores of Ghana.

This is a valuable education for our brothers and sisters who seek greener pastures outside Ghana; let's be guided seriously and prioritize our safety before traveling.

We thank our brother for this thoughtful and timely education for our people. Mamprugu to the world. 🌍

The North East Regional Education Directorate has, upon request by the Mamprugu Traditional Council, granted a local holiday for the celebration of the fire (Bugum) festival in the Mamprugu kingdom.

This is one more reason the entire Mamprugu kingdom should have been in one region; the Bongo and Bawku traditional areas in the Upper East region also celebrate the fire festival, but it's unfortunate that students in those areas won't be enjoying this holiday.

The political administration of Ghana has done a lot of disservice to the Mamprugu kingdom and the authority of the Nayiri.

The King of Mamprugu, Tiduguma Nayiri Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga, celebrates the 2026 fire festival on Thursday, 25th June 2026.

The Bugum gɔri, known in the Arabic calendar as the month of Muharram, marks the beginning of the year in the Mamprugu kingdom, and the fire festival (Bugum kyuu) ushers us into the new year.

Let's come together and commemorate the beautiful heritage bequeathed to us by our forefathers.

To our brothers and sisters in politics, 2028 will not be business as usual.

You can do your politics quietly, and we won't have any problem with you, but if anyone dares attack Bawumia, he'll have the whole of Mamprugu to deal with.

We are going to protect Bawumia with all our might. In the midst of how the current government is mistreating Mamprugu, our chiefs are not going to sit aloof and watch any riffraff malign Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the soil of Mamprugu.

A sub-chief of the Kpasenkpe traditional area is disciplining a young man that made derogatory comments about Dr. Bawumia; this is how it's going to be moving forward to the 2028 election.

A visit to the Nayiri.

The Global Trotting Princess paid a courtesy call on the King of Mamprugu, His Majesty Tiduguma Nayiri Naa Bohagu Abdulai Mahami Sheriga.

Tiduguma Nayiri is the king who sits on an over 800-year-old throne made of skins and wears a crown that was inherited from the legendary Naa Gbewaa.

The purpose of the tourist's visit was, among other things, to explore the tourist sites of Mamprugu.

His Majesty Tiduguma Nayiri is an international king; he has traditional jurisdictions in Burkina Faso and Togo and enskins chiefs to those areas, making him the only king in Ghana with such traditional authority.
