A few weeks ago, Voice of BULUK highlighted the growing rubbish dump and damaged toilet facility in Fumbisi, which residents feared could pose serious health risks to the community.

Following public attention and engagement with our report, the rubbish dump has now been cleared by the relevant authorities.

Today, we return to the site to bring you an update and show the progress made. This demonstrates the power of community journalism and the importance of speaking up about issues that affect us all.
