THE YOUTH OF ASUOGYAMAN HAVE ENDORSED CLEMENT AMEGATSE AS THEIR PREFERRED CANDIDATE FOR THE DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE (DCE) POSITION
This move is a significant boost to Mr Clement Amegatse as the youth form a critical component of the district's population. The overwhelming endorsement follows his successful vetting on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 for the Metropolitan, Municipal and District position held at the National democratic congress (NDC) party headquarters in the eastern region.
The aspiring DCE, who is a teacher and a constituency secretary to the Asuogyaman constituency, has built a strong reputation as a leader within the NDC party and beyond. He has held various positions such as being a propaganda secretary, head of the election directorate, collation agent for Asuogyaman constituency, National Trainer of Trainers, mentoring students to become good future leaders, liaising between students and the headmaster.
According to sources, the youth of Asuogyaman are impressed by Mr Clement Amegatse's engagement with the youth of Asuogyaman. He has been actively involved in various youth empowerment programs, listening to their concerns and providing support to students where needed.
The Asuogyaman District Assembly has been working to enhance education, facilitating numerous developmental projects among others in the district by Hon. Thomas Ampem Nyarko the MP for Asuogyaman district. The youth are eager to see Mr Clement Amegatse work with the current MP to take the district to the next level.
With the youths endorsement, Mr Clement Amegatse's campaign has gained significant momentum. It remains to be seen how this will impact the outcome of the MMDCE'S appointment.
