Statement by Hikmatu Yahaya Iddi

The internal elections of the New Patriotic Party have come to an end, and I wish to commend all delegates, aspirants, and party members for a peaceful and democratic process.
At this point, unity is paramount. We must put aside all differences, personal interests, and past disagreements and come together as one strong family. The strength of the NPP has always been our ability to unite after contest and focus on the bigger goal β winning national elections.
I therefore call on all party faithful, from the polling stations to the national level, to rise with renewed energy and commitment toward the 2028 general elections. Our role in mobilization, campaigning, and voter education is more critical now than ever.
Let us lead the charge with unity, discipline, and dedication. By standing together and working tirelessly, we will not only strengthen the party but also contribute significantly to securing victory in 2028.
Together, united and determined, we shall win.
