Mantse In a small fishing town known for its boxing greats, a boy with nothing to lose is inspired to rise from underdog to champion.

MANTSE takes place in Ghana, telling the story of Nii, a young boy who struggles to survive amidst the poverty of the small fishing village called Bukom. His family is all he has: a proud but troubled father, a rebellious brother with a knack for violence and a mother who'll do anything to protect her own. The odds are stacked against him and things get worse when his family starts to break apart.

When all seems lost, a local hero with a dark past connects with Nii and inspires him to fight for what is his. Will Nii be beaten down by the pressures of Bukom, or can he rise to be the champion he was destined to be? Share this page to help make this project a reality.
