Being the news anchor for the famous and outstanding Zuria fm in Kumasi,our personality for today is no other than Hawa Mohammed Muntala. She holds a certificate in HND Communication at the Institute of business management and journalism in the year 2019.
Our today’s crush attribute of hard work started way back. She’s held so many leadership positions including;
The GMSA Wocom at Serwaa Nyarko Girls SHS (2014-2015).
Member of Chaplaincy Board at Institute of Business Management and Jounalism.
YMP Representative: Asawase Constituency
Chairwoman for Parliamentary Select Committee.
She’s not just a brainy,she’s a beauty as well. She won the Face of Hijab in 2019. Kudos to you Hawa.
Hawa had the zeal and always aspired to be a journalist since infancy which made her be in front of the television watching or listening to news and by Allah’s will, her dreams have come to pass and waiting to be in a better place in the near future.
We not being impeccable means we all have flaws and we definitely face challenges along our journey of life. Her challenge as a female Muslim journalist is that of the opposite s*x looking down upon them which makes coping difficult for her when asked to report for news but Alhamdulillah is all she can say.
Hawa’s inspirations are herself. She said,” I realized I can make up my mind and nobody sets rule for her so by Alllah’s grace, she was able to design her own life”. Second is her parents, even though they’re not educated,she gives them the portion of parenthood by seeking for their advice and they turn to even make selection of attires she wears.Ma sha Allah.
Our able personality’s final words to her fellow sisters is,”You define your own life. Don’t let other people write your script because no matter what good or bad,people will still talk about it.
