No marriage works by itself. Couples work it out. The joy, peace, longevity, godliness, and prosperity of every marriage are worked out by the couple. Unbuilt couples can not build a marriage. It is always the couple's content that fills the marriage container. A sweet marriage means two sweet people came together and made a commitment to each other. An abusive marriage means some toxic people somehow met.

Your marriage will not work because you and your partner are just two good people. It will work because you are willing to commit that goodness in you to each other.

One person can never make a marriage work. Two criminals who are committed to each other can have a glorious and working marriage than two holy and godly partners who are selfish about themselves and prefer to walk alone and to be by themselves in the marriage.

The sign that two perfect and reasonable humans have met is conflicts. When two entities who can think for themselves meet, conflict is inevitable. But more so, the sign that these two are matured in their reasoning ability is their swiftness in resolving their conflicts and differences.

The second thing to note is that marriage is only going to receive the content you are bringing into it. No one is lucky to have a working marriage. There is something they know and keep applying that others don't know. Knowledge is the master key to great marriage.

The day you marry is the day you have to delete the singles' mindset. You can't wake up when you want and you can't come back home the time you want. You can't travel as at when you feel like. You have another person to consider whenever you have to make a decision. You can't buy a car you want. It must be a discussion. You can't buy land in an area you want. It must be discussed. You can't just go to the hospital to do a body enhancement without proper deliberation with your partner. Accountability is factoring your spouse in your day-to-day life.
