Had a lot of fun reinterpreting this monologue from the Nollywood movie Good Deed Gone Bad. Absolutely loved this little scene originally performed by Shine Rosman 🤩

It was even more rewarding because I submitted it into the and got selected as one of the winners 🥹🤩 More on that later 🙂‍↔️

One night in 5 pictures… that obviously does not do justice to the entire experience 😭

It’s been a couple of days now but I’m still not off the high of everything that this set was 🥹 and listening to all the feedback I got, I’m so ecstatic that everyone that was present felt the same way 😅☺️

It’s been so surreal to watch an idea blossom into a reality and I’m inspired to not just dream bigger (and wilder 😁) but to push my foot hard on the pedal. 🥰
If this was your first introduction to Adomaa (or reintroduction cuz 😬 I know I’ve been MIA) then welcome. 😆🤝

I’m now working on a slight variation to that set for my online family so stay tuned. 🤩

So… I decided to tell a story that unfolds across different formats for my performance at this year’s Jazz and World Music Festival 🤩

Yes, I’m a little extra 😌 but the idea had me in a chokehold, so I ran with it.

It’s been such a fun (and slightly wild) process planning, scripting, filming, and rehearsing for this, and I genuinely can’t wait to see it all come together on Friday 😆 Any chance to merge my love for film and music, I’m all in. This one is straight from the heart.

And now, in true rollout fashion, enjoy this trailer/prelude 😁 To know how it all ends, you’ll have to be there live on Friday 😏✌🏾
