someone called me today and made a comment about my poem, dɔ me a bra, that i’m certain will stay with me for a long time. she spoke so beautifully about the poem and its composition, saying her english wasn’t enough to express what she felt, so she wanted to say it in swahili, which is her language.
damn. we made a classic 💔

Church in the Night x a poem.

Over the weekend, I had the honour of returning to the stage at Empowerment Worship Centre for their Church in the Night — Creative Moment, where I shared another poem. This marks my second appearance with the church, and I am grateful for the privilege to use my gift to share the message of Christ.

A heartfelt thank you to Pastor Haider Benedict and leadership of the church and to my gee, Ronald Akwesi Bruce Gyamfi, for introducing me to the church community and continuing to share the faith with me.
